Thicket Food Park

This place is a little gem. About 10 or so food trucks there with a multitude of different cuisines. My crew went with the tacos, fried pork bento box and perogies. All the food was delicious and there was even a small play area for children. Bathrooms are also on site.

If you’re in Austin, Texas and you have time I would 100% include this little food truck park into your trip! They have so many food options to choose from as well as coffee if you’re on the go or if you wanna sit and eat, they have space for you too! Parking is plentiful Gorgeous view, and even kids toys! When I came here, I went to Strauss house and the cart next to it that serves oyster mushroom bagels for breakfast. It was delicious!

The Stouthaus coffee truck k serves excellent coffee. The cortado was perfect. Tasty, strong and not watered down ( which many places then to do). Great informative service on the coffee bean selection too.

This food park was quite a find! We tried a few food trucks while being there, and all of them were great! It was a really cute food park with plenty of shade and parking. I would definitely come again! Very family friendly too, my kids loved it.

The food truck park is solid, but TX Shawarma is the absolute star of the show, seriously some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever had in my life, one of the best gyros and dishes I've ever had in Texas, seriously, go check this place out, I can not say it enough, it's seriously fantastic.

Loved the peaceful cute atmosphere. Lots of shaded benches to sit and eat. I tried the Leguminati from Revolution burger, and I was surprised how delicious a vegan burger can taste. I will definitely go back to try other food trucks in the area. There is also good amount of parking in the back.

TX Shawarma is a solid choice for delicious Mediterranean fare in Austin. The food truck serves up fresh and flavorful shawarma, with tender and well-seasoned meat that is cooked on a vertical rotisserie. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The chicken shawarma plate is a standout, with juicy slices of marinated chicken accompanied by fragrant basmati rice, a fresh salad, and creamy tzatziki sauce. The falafel is also quite good, with a crispy exterior and fluffy interior. While the food is very good overall, the service can be a bit slow at times, especially when the truck is busy. But the friendly staff makes up for any delays. The seating is limited to a few picnic tables, so it's best for takeout or a quick casual meal.
