This was on my list to try before even coming to town. I ordered the tofu seitan bacon taco and the fish tacos. Both were AMAZING. The chipotle sauce was delicious. I wish I took photos but I was so hungry I dived right in so here’s some art instead. This was very art heavy so there was amazing food plus beautiful views. And the staff was so helpful and friendly. I’ll have to be back because this is not a one and done kind of stop. Also, very affordable vegan options for those who love vegan food but don’t want ridiculous prices!

Ordered an insanely delicious crunch wrap. It was perfectly layered, the tortilla was crispy where it was grilled and soft on the inside. A lil bit of heat (probably not spicy to most) and flavorful. I’m lucky I don’t live in Austin, I’d visit this place a couple of times a week. I will have to pass by on my way outta town so I’ll be back!

Excellent food. Period. Very filling. I wish there was a drink food truck just for variety. But as far as food The Vegan Nom is top tier. Flavorful! Outside seating on a super hot day is surprisingly nice with misters and shade.

This is one of my go to when it comes to food trucks in Austin. I love that They have ample free parking. Right now they have seven trucks which are usually open at the same time. It’s pretty well lit and they play good music (old school). The only thing I would say is they need to work on updating the heaters and bathrooms. Although they’re locked, I feel like they need more care and the hot water doesn’t work. I tried 4 (Habibi, Tacos, Pete’s Cajun Seafood, and Coat & Thai) out of the 7 trucks and all of the food was delicious!

We ordered at the Thai restaurant, I don’t like the point that a food truck place includes a place that sells stuff not suitable for children. I had a hard time explaining to my kids that those Gummies and stuff is not for kids. And those trucks don’t carry food they advertise. So we ended up ordering Thai. The restrooms are locked. It just an weird experience.

We have a deep seated love for food trucks so being in an area swarming with them was a dream. We had hoped to visit a handful of FT parks but ran out of time so The Picnic is the only one we made it to. BUT, it was such an awesome experience we have no remorse! We sampled food from 5 different trucks & every bite was heaven. Seating area covered & clean! Very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend!!!

Enjoyed this food truck park so much that we came back the next day! Ample parking and lots of picnic tables (hence the name?) under a large awning. It’s open but you also won’t get rained on or have to sit in direct sun. Great variety among the trucks. We especially enjoyed Coat & Thai (try the Yellow Curry and/or the Pad Thai!). Habibi was also delicious. You really can’t go wrong with any of the options. There’s even a truck that sells dog treats so four-legged friends aren’t left out. This place has something for everyone and is a definite standout even in Austin’s crowded food truck park scene.

I found a place to eat called the “Picnic” , it was a grouping of food trucks offering different kinds of food, they had really good burgers, Italian, Mexican, Sea F to name a few. after you purchased your food you could eat in a central area with many picknick tables. There were also public restrooms available. The athsonephere was fun..
It was great we loved it. There was plenty of free parking available and they even had a “lock gate”.
If your ever in Austin don’t miss this one of a kind dining experience. If you like food trucks you will love this.!!

We had heard of this place and ended up driving here…. BEST DECISION EVER!
We got the Yaqui Dog and the Cali burrito and they were so delicious. Portions were BIG so it’s worth the price. The Yaqui dog has carne asada compared to the Sonora dog. So it’s different but the owner said the original Sonora dog has won best hot dog nationally last summer so we will try it next time. The Cali burrito has fries and lots of saucy items so also delicious. Also the green salsa was great!
Location is great… they had so many tables and had shade as well as fans. You could tell that locals came and regular came during the time we sat down.
And the workers there were so nice!

One of the best burritos ever, with these really quite unique Sonoran-style tortillas. The hot dogs they’re known for are also amazing. It’s hard to describe but everything is just well balanced, not too much or too little of anything.

Prices are reasonable and the folks running the truck are kind. Easily a top tier burrito and hot dog anywhere.

T-Loc’s Sonora Hot Dogs is easily one of the best food trucks in Austin. The burrito was phenomenal, and the Sonora dog blew me away. I seriously could’ve eaten three of them, but I’m trying to behave on this diet! The flavors are bold, the ingredients are fresh, and you can tell there’s real passion behind the food. Even standing in the Texas heat and brushing off a few flies didn’t take away from the experience—it was that good. This is a place built on heart, hustle, and love for good food. Support your local legends—T-Loc’s is absolutely worth the stop!

I would highly recommend this food truck to anyone! We drove all the way from Pflugerville to try it out, and it was absolutely worth the drive. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating — even when we messed up our own order, they went above and beyond to make it right.

The food? Incredible. One of the best hot dogs I’ve ever had, and the Carne Asada fries were out of this world. They also have great outdoor seating and even checked in on us after we got our food, which was such a nice touch.

I love supporting local businesses, and this one has definitely earned our repeat visits. We’ll be back!

We got the $16 platter with one of each taco and we were pleasantly surprised! The beef cheek and pork stomach were our favorites and let me tell you the mushroom taco was probably the spiciest item there! The parking is a bit annoying and the picnic area isnt really clean/nice so we ate in the car. However, the food is well worth it if you’re in the area, and I will be back again and again and again!

I had a great experience at Cuantos Tacos in Austin. I tried the champiñones tacos and a costra, and both were delicious—juicy, flavorful, and packed with a good balance of cilantro and seasoning. Be prepared though: these are definitely on the wetter, messier side (I’d call them “sloppy tacos”), so grab some extra napkins.

Friends I was with had the suadero tacos and also raved about them—some even said they were the best tacos they’ve ever had. The fresh lime, green and red salsas, and a cold Mexican Coke really tied it all together. Authentic, flavorful, and worth the stop.

The food was delicious, a lil greasy, perfectly seasoned and cooked thoroughly. I know because lots of these sit down burger places leave the meat pinkish in the middle. I came on a Saturday and a Friday for a return meal. They’ve got a price of $2.75 per taco after tax, and they’re not bite size, but small and delicious. Me and my mom had 8 (4 each) for $22 no tip after tax. I personally get 4 cachete (cheek) tacos with cilantro, green salsa, onions and lime. The tables they have seat 6 comfortably but they’re a bit worn with some paint damage and avg outside splashes of dried dirt. Still good seating. I’d recommend if you can’t find tacos of equal flavor below $3.25 if your by downtown Aus. I give it a 3 atmosphere because the occasional insect flies around and crawls up your food mostly ants and small flies. In 40 minutes of sitting around I was bothered only 3 times by a fly or any total. They also cook extremely quickly, we were order 3 of the people who walked up and within 5-10 minutes all three groups with 2 people each had their tacos and were eating. Overall I’d say 4.65/5 because fast good food is great the tables could use a decent clean but not bad (not grimy, sticky, etc).

I visited Veracruz All Natural at Radio Coffee and really enjoyed the barbacoa tacos and the friendly service. The only downside for me was that the meat was a bit too greasy, and since it’s a food truck setup, there’s no indoor space to escape the heat. If you’re visiting during summer, I’d recommend ordering to go. Still, the flavor is worth trying!

Visited this place (food truck) after seeing a lot of good reviews. Location is simply great & good vibes. Nice hang out place with lot of food trucks & few restaurants around. Tried the fish taco and they actually took about 10 minutes to prepare and I should say it was served hot. Taste was delicious and quantity & quality both were good! One of the best fish tacos I have ever tried.

Vera Cruz is the best taco place!!! Support all their locations! I love the shrimp macha, migas, grilled steak, barbacoa, originales… their tacos are packed full with a lot of flavor— the spicy salsa has the best flavor and kick! I love (and appreciate) how you can get delivery through DoorDash!! The tacos travel well and delivery has been so quick! I will say this location is hard to park at, but it’s worth taking the time to find a spot!

Great atmosphere for getting to-go Mexican food with amazing spices and delicious taste.

Service is crowd dependent, tried this place 2-3 times and it was slow during peak weekend hours but fast the other couple of times.

Food is usually tasty, even vegetarian tacos are tasty and not just fajitas inside a tortilla.

Quesadillas are great too but the overall experience was kinda disappointing due to unreasonable prices.

1 taco and 1 quesadillas will cost you $25-30, even though the prices have increased everywhere but a quesadilla costing $15 and a single taco for $6-7 which is definitely not worth it. This is costlier than most Mexican restaurants in the area.

Food quality is okay for the cost and unfortunately there are no prices on the menu, which is put up on the truck.

You can usually find a parking spot behind radio coffee on the unpaved but free parking lot.

Seating spaces near the food truck can be limited but you usually find one easily or in a few min while waiting for your food.

There are some brisket and Thai food trucks adjoining this one, plus you can grab a drink in radio coffee.

Pets are allowed but summer time it gets too hot for dogs to be there. Water available for dogs outside radio coffee.

The truck was busy. We had to order on chaos. The wait was 45 minutes. We got the Grilled Fish, Grilled Steak, Al Pastor, Shrimp Macha & Migas Originales. All the tacos were delicious in their own ways. My favorite was Grilled Steak, Al Pastor & Shrimp Macha. They gave me the wrong taco but give me another one after I told them. This is my second visit to the best place with the tastiest food I’ve had since I arrived in the Texan capital 50 days ago! Based on my experience, Aam Samir is the finest Egyptian chef crafting Greek cuisine in this city!

Stumbled upon this spot while visiting Austin for the weekend. The owner was so kind and the food was a-ma-zing. The truck is in a great location too, fun street to hang out.

One of the BEST food trucks in Austin serving Mediterranean food. It’s located in a busy area with bars/restaurants, inside a gas station parking lot. It was our first time there but we have heard great things. We were greeted by an older man, he was extremely nice and runs the truck by himself. I asked him if he was Egyptian since my bestie is and she is from Alexandria. The owner said he was from Alexandria too! ☺️

We ordered the shish kebab plate, mixed grill plate, HAWASHY, and he gave us complimentary baklava since it was our first time there.

The meat plates were so good. The meat was generous and the pita bread was soft, warm, and so good with the hummus and meat on it. The salad was refreshing and cold. Works really well with the meat and rice and white sauce. The mix grill plate was a combo of lamb and chicken—get it if you want to try both meats. The HAWAWSHY was very very unique. It was a very big bread stuffed with beef and lamb. It was so soft, easy to pull apart, slight sweetness from the bread and spice from the meat. We got it as an appetizer but the size of it is a whole entree. I highly recommend you try the hawawshy next time. And lastly, of course the baklava was amazing. We air fried the 2nd one the next day and it was so good.

The food is so delicious!! Prices are keeping up with inflation and still cheaper than those sit in restaurants. Give this food truck and the Egyptian man from Alexandria a chance! 🙂 I believe it’s ranked #83 best places to eat in Austin. There are a few picnic tables you can eat it.

First time but not my last time! Amazing falafel, crispy and tasty with special sauce, eggplant and cauliflower. Rice plate is the way to go and pretty big portions I have lunch for tomorrow! Amazing service, kind and thoughtful. Will definitely return! All my friends loved their shawarma plates and baklava. Come support!!

Favorite food truck in Austin! The falafel gardenia plate is possibly the best vegetarian dish around. We eat here almost weekly, the owner is always welcoming and the food is always quality. Rice pudding and Baklava are a great treat, my kids love it.

Chicken shawarma plate was ok and plentiful but expensive for what it is. The lime mint drink was good but, again, expensive

This place is a little gem. About 10 or so food trucks there with a multitude of different cuisines.

My crew went with the tacos, fried pork bento box and perogies. All the food was delicious and there was even a small play area for children.

Bathrooms are also on site.

If you’re in Austin, Texas and you have time I would 100% include this little food truck park into your trip! They have so many food options to choose from as well as coffee if you’re on the go or if you wanna sit and eat, they have space for you too! Parking is plentiful Gorgeous view, and even kids toys!

When I came here, I went to Strauss house and the cart next to it that serves oyster
mushroom bagels for breakfast. It was delicious!

The food truck park is solid, but TX Shawarma is the absolute star of the show, seriously some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had in my life, one of the best gyros and dishes I’ve ever had in Texas, seriously, go check this place out, I can not say it enough, it’s seriously fantastic.

Loved the peaceful cute atmosphere. Lots of shaded benches to sit and eat. I tried the Leguminati from Revolution burger, and I was surprised how delicious a vegan burger can taste. I will definitely go back to try other food trucks in the area. There is also good amount of parking in the back.

TX Shawarma is a solid choice for delicious Mediterranean fare in Austin. The food truck serves up fresh and flavorful shawarma, with tender and well-seasoned meat that is cooked on a vertical rotisserie. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable.

The chicken shawarma plate is a standout, with juicy slices of marinated chicken accompanied by fragrant basmati rice, a fresh salad, and creamy tzatziki sauce. The falafel is also quite good, with a crispy exterior and fluffy interior.

While the food is very good overall, the service can be a bit slow at times, especially when the truck is busy. But the friendly staff makes up for any delays. The seating is limited to a few picnic tables, so it’s best for takeout or a quick casual meal.

Michelin Star tacos you say? I’m sold!
As another google reviewer previously mentioned, this taco truck was featured on JOLLY’s YouTube channel.
The truck has it’s own location surrounded by a good amount of seating where guests can converse and watch a movie on one of their dozen or so screens. A great vibe for the family (21 or older).
We ordered the 8 tacos and a side of their elote. The tacos are ridiculously small, but packed with plenty of flavor with no sauce needed, but if you do need sauce, then I reccomend their green!
The elote was good, and two people can split.
I am satisfied with our experience and I do reccomend giving them a try. Also, the prices are actually not bad.

Found out about this place from the amazing YouTube channel JOLLY. So glad we took the time on our trip to make our way down! THE BEST tacos I’ve ever had. Staff is friendly and sweet! The elote is phenomenal the crunch on the corn was so good and let me know it was beyond fresh! Definitely excited for the next time we come to the area to have them again!

Merci !

Look, I’ve eaten a lot of tacos. Like… an embarrassing amount. But the little beauties at Discada? These things rewired my taste buds. Each taco is about the size of a silver dollar pancake, but don’t let that fool you, they slap harder than your tía at a family party when you mouth off.

The guy running the truck gave us a full-on National Geographic deep dive on these tacos. I half expected David Attenborough to start narrating. I retained none of the facts, but the passion? Unforgettable. You could taste the generational love. It was like a tortilla hug from the ancestors.

Also… the street corn? Absolute sorcery. I took one bite and briefly considered proposing to the man who made it. Stephen from Nacho Libre would gladly trade all the Lord’s chips for just one kernel. Bring your stretchy pants for this one.

In summary: Taco bliss. Corn conversion. Heritage in every bite.

I ordered a migas and a chorizo breakfast taco. The tortillas weren’t great, and neither taco really tasted like their fillings. The only flavor that came through was the egg and cheese.
On the plus side, highly recommend the green salsa.

The place was very well recommended. When I got there there was no one and I wondered if I was at the wrong place. Shortly after I got there there was a long line. The little truck is in front of a very small plaza, it has some parking but there is more on the other side.
The lady that took my order was very friendly. I got a breakfast taco; sausage, eggs and cheese and a asada taco.
I enjoyed them both very much. I didn’t expect the beef to be shredded but it was a very nice surprise. They were big tacos, very fat… I love that. I thought that it was a good price for what I was getting.
I would definitely eat here again.

Apparently in an interview Elijah Woods, when asked for the best breakfast in Austin, recommended El Primo!

This is such an unpretentious little food truck (or stall?) There aren’t any vegan options but I got the egg, bean and cheese taco and the torta. The torta had the best bread I’ve ever eaten. The green salsa was my favourite. Really flavourful and I think they make it here themselves! The red salsa was quite a bit spicier, so be careful not to drown your food in that!

The establishment is cash only BUT you can order online! Which is what we did! Can pay online too and then get your warm tacos right as you pull up!
There’s two small picnic benches near a tree where you can sit and enjoy. It’s a little noisy with the cars passing by so close by but it’s a real authentic Austin experience!

Definitely try the breakfast tacos! The beef was “literally melt in your mouth” And although not the Best Tacos Ever, these are really solid and up there in the ranking!

We shared two tacos (the tempeh brisket & the squash) which were delicious and filling! We also tried two of the sea moss shots – both were surprisingly good! A lot of times, it is rough to have sea moss, but these tasted better than any place Ive tried before. So glad we found ATX Food Co. – we will be back to try more! Especially the smoothies!!

Loved it so much I went back the next day too! Had an iced latte and the cacao pudding the first time and those were so delicious. Tried the nitro cacao smoothie today and took my dog to enjoy the patio in the morning too—between the vegetable and herb garden and the giant fans all around us it was super pleasant

This food truck in ATX is hands down the best I’ve had! I’m a big fan of the vegetarian and vegan options, and the smoothies are packed with nutrients thanks to the Sea Moss. I come for the hugs, and then they feed me ❤️

Rod and Ray are the kindest, most hospitable, and welcoming hosts in Austin! It seems like they remember almost every guest and genuinely enjoy feeding them, serving them, and welcoming them into their circle. If you are looking for the best healthy food with a family atmosphere in Austin or to get connected with other health conscious folks in the Austin scene ATXFOODCO is THE place.

Or keep it simple and just enjoy the great food. Ray, Rod and the whole crew are super friendly.

Kids: I have brought plenty of regular Texas meat eating friends who said “dang I could get my kids to eat this.” And of course, plenty of healthy families bring their kids.
