I recently visited this hospital for a medical emergency and I am incredibly grateful that they happened to be the closest ER to me. I was taken in immediately and given care with a high level of urgency. They were very knowledgeable and kind. In such a vulnerable state, I was treated with respect and dignity. I do not have insurance at the moment and was absolutely terrified that I was going to be swimming in medical debt. I can tell they had my best interest at heart and didn’t do any unnecessary testing or charge me any extra unnecessary fees. I had a very negative view of hospitals, seeing them as places that put profits over people - they showed me that there are good hospitals out there. I highly recommend Austin Emergency Center. Thank you again.
This is truly the best ER I have ever gone to! The care and quality of treatment is held to the upmost standard! Everybody was incredibly friendly and helpful from the front desk, staff, to the physicians, nurses, and techs.
I Came in and was immediately helped (I called before hand to check for a wait) This Emergency Room is 10/10 the doctor is a great guy and makes you feel heard and the staff and nurses are absolute gems. I would come here from here on out for any emergency. This is a ER I trust, nothing like those big hospitals who make you feel like another wrist band. This is still one of the good Healthcare Centers!!!!! Please by all means if you have an emergency come here and get taken care of.
Everything here was amazing, efficient, and pleasant. Cut my finger on glass, needed stitches. Joined waitlist online, virtually no wait upon arrival other than paperwork. Treatment, options, payment explained and given choices. Every. single. person. was engaging, kind, accommodating, and pleasant, like happy to see me! I received better treatment here than from my S &W Doc, even got a followup call the next day to check on me. Incredible experience for an emergency clinic.
Five stars can’t describe my experience at Austin Emergency Center, Dr. Fox was So caring, nurse Belinda was gentle the radiologist Leean and Admissions rep: Valerie made acted more than professionals! They all made my experience here a ten star one! I highly recommend them.
I had a really good experience here. The doctor and nurse were so caring and spent quality time with me listening to what was going on and brain storming what could be the cause of my ailment. The doctor referred me to a list of specialists and I was able to get diagnosed not even a week later- which is apparently unheard of with this disease. I really owe it to Dr Colunga for referring me to the right doctors. Would definitely recommend this ER.
Don't ever go to this place. I got a cut and got a few stitches. I went there after 10 days to cut the stitches as they mentioned and even though the wound didn't heal completely they cut my stitches. Now i don't know how long it will take for wound to heal. They don't care about their patients. The doctor didn't even come to cut the stitch and didn't even look at the wound after the stitch was cut. This place sucks big time. All they want is your money
