Lone Star Eye

Have been at Lone Star Eye for maybe 8 years? Have always had a professional and pleasant experience. Had a scheduled visit today and when I had jury duty they were willing to let me have some flexibility w my appointment. Ended up not needing it and it helped me not to have as much pressure in my day. When I arrived everyone was so nice from my check in to the technician who helped me with my initial testing. Dr. Patel was kind and helped me understand all my scans and reassured me that everything was good. In the past year I’ve had some issues come up for me with my eyes and the team was quick to help see me and sent me to a competent referral when i needed an ophthalmologist (this was last year). Back to my most recent visit I had fun picking out some new frames with Olga and Jessica (great team work!) and settled on some new glasses and contacts. I have a no bridge nose and was really happy to get the expert help I needed to find a great pair that fit my face and were comfortable (I’ve for the longest been at Warby, Quay and Covry and it took sitting with Olga and Jessica to find a really comfy pair!). I came to Lone Star from a friend referral years ago and sharing here to keep it going… good health care is not something to take for granted and appreciate everyone at Lone Star Eye for taking care of me all these years!

I had a wonderful experience when I went to get an eye exam. Dr. Packer was thorough and made great recommendations for my personal needs. He answered all my questions and gave me options. The staff was very friendly and helped me find the glasses that best suited me. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing an eye professional!

Freaking AWESOME! They got me in within an hour of calling for an emergency appointment. Dr Packer was efficient, informative and just cool! He drilled into my head how to properly apply the eye drops for max effectiveness (shake well, noted) and within 2 hours of dripping the drops into my eye, it feels SO MUCH BETTER! Yall rock! Thanks for getting me in and getting me out of pain!

Dr. Packer at Lone Star Eye is the absolute best! Went to have my vision checked and order a pair of prescription sunglasses. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Line Star Eye will take great care of you if you are ever in need of eye care.

I went to this location because of the high reviews and several recommendations. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism, the knowledge, and the superior customer service I received. They truly made me feel like a member of the family and rolled out the red carpet for me. Super special kudos for Jessica and Jessica. Amazing employees and so nice to be around. I would very strongly recommend an appointment. You will not be disappointed!

Being a native Chicagoan, I still have a hard time getting used to the near-agressive niceness of Austin folks. Dr. Patel didn't just remedy my eye pain, he took me on a Masterclass journey into the alien world of my own eyeballs. Hilarious, wondrous, truly breathtaking and I enjoyed every second! Walked away thinking that if Dr. Patel had been one of my high school teachers, I might have chosen college instead of the Army. Lone Star looks to be my last stop in old lady eye care, but it should be your first. ️ ⭐
