When you come to SoChac you will move your body, lift heavy things, and sweat a ton. And you will love it!!! Having been a member for a little over a year now, I can honestly say that it is one of the most encouraging and accessible places to workout. The entire staff of coaches does an excellent job of meeting you at your individual fitness and experience level, and the classes are designed so that novices and experienced athletes alike can workout alongside each other seamlessly. Come be a part of this positive and uplifting community. You will not regret it.
So happy to be part of this community! I've long been intimidated by CrossFit, and I think that's pretty common. But if you're new to it, on a fitness journey, trying to get stronger - whatever the case - SoChac is the place for you. The coaches most definitely have the experience to work with seasoned athletes, but this is at the same time a very beginner friendly gym which I personally love. There is such a welcoming and supportive energy at SoChac and its the first time in my life I've actually had fun while working out. I look forward to going to class (usually, ha) and that's certainly never been my relationship with fitness before. There are monthly community workouts you can attend or even just come watch if you're hesitant but curious. You can prioritize your physical health, and have fun doing it - at SoChac!!

Having trained at several CrossFit gyms, I can confidently say this one stands out—it meets me at my current abilities while consistently pushing me to grow. Each session is thoughtfully designed to make sure you warm up and cool down key muscle groups, reducing the risk of injury and helping you get the most out of every workout. What truly sets this gym apart is its community. From the moment you walk in, you’re invited to grow and learn alongside others—all within just an hour per session.
I’ve been training at CrossFit SoChac for around a year and a half now, and I can’t recommend them enough! From the very beginning, the community has been welcoming, supportive, and genuinely fun to be around. They offer various workshops throughout the year to help you improve different aspects of your journey—whether it’s nutrition, technique, endurance, or more. And the coaches, specifically, are amazing! They’re all incredibly knowledgeable, motivating, and truly take the time to help you refine your technique and safely reach your goals. I definitely feel that when the day comes for me to leave SoChac (hopefully not anytime soon—haha), they’ll have left a lasting impact on both my physical and mental health. Shout-out to: 1. Coach Sandra for the continuous remote nutrition support during the two months I was traveling. 2. Coach Larry for always helping with technique and pushing me to do better in class. 3. Coach Amanda for all the running support—I couldn’t have accomplished my first 10K without her!
I had a fantastic drop-in experience at CrossFit SoChac this past Saturday! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and kindness. Coach Amanda and Jen were both incredibly welcoming, making sure I felt comfortable and supported throughout the class. The gym has a great atmosphere—clean, well-equipped, and full of energy. It was clear that everyone was there to support each other. I had a wonderful time and will definitely be back whenever I'm in the area. Highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a great CrossFit experience!
I can’t say enough good things about SoChac! My wife and I were looking to improve our health and wanted something we could do together. We had very different experience levels in the gym, so this was proving difficult…until we gave SoChac a try! Before every workout, the coaches check in with you to make sure the workout meets your skill level, challenges you appropriately, and accommodates your body that day(injuries, fatigue, etc). It’s really awesome and allows everyone to tackle the workout together as a community, regardless of where you are in your fitness journey. We cannot recommend SoChac enough. The classes, the coaches, the community…all top notch. We feel healthier than we ever have before and only wish we found SoChac sooner.
Been going to this gym for four months and love it! Community is great, coaches are attentive and want to see you succeed, programming is challenging but not scary. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a healthier lifestyle and RESULTS
