Just had vasectomy completed by Dr. Shaw and couldn’t have been any better. Being in medical sales all my career, you can tell when a Doc. has it. Dr Shaw has it! He was cool to talk to and a normal guy. Def would recommend him. I have no pain and minimal bruising. I’m not going to ding him on his front office staff (not assistants) but they weren’t the greatest. Not going to get into but that would be the only "bad" experience I had.
I had a great experience here! I will be recommending this doctor to everyone who needs a vasectomy. I didn’t know what to expect, but I’ll be encouraging my friends to get a vasectomy if they ever express the need or desire for one. Everyone was super friendly, overall great experience & done so quickly!
The experience was nice and easy. Dr Shaw and his team made you feel comfortable. The procedure itself only took about 10mins. I recommend if you are thinking about a vasectomy, go to this Institute! They give you a cool T-shirt and a pair of nice boxers too! Thanks Team!
Dr. Shaw operated on me over a decade ago and left me with chronic testicular pain that I still deal with today. Instead of referring me to somebody more experienced, he put me through 3 back-to-back surgeries for a varicocele because he didn't know what he was doing. Every urologist I see is shocked to learn what I've been through. I used to be a happy, optimistic person with goals in life. Now I'm miserable and have to continually drain my bank account on doctor visits and physical therapy.
Natasha and Alex are today’s heroes for us! You can’t imagine my elation, with all that my wife has been through in the last 9 months, when you freed her of that dang Foley catheter today! The joy on her face made me outwardly emotional and that’s not normal for me. Anyway, I could ramble on and on and I’m sure you guys already know how awesome you are! All the best to y’all! Have a great one!
Appointment wise I was happy To get an appointment in a timely manner, but I was expecting the appointment to be with a urologist doctor and not a nurse practitioner. The nurse practitioner that saw me was very nice and scheduled a CT scan. My follow-up appointment was within week and that was with an another person who was a nurse practitioner. Again I would think at a minimum at this point in time this is where you actually meet your doctor which in my case would’ve been Dr Shaw, but no I saw another nurse practitioner which I expressed my disappointment that a doctor was not seeing me for my CT follow-up. The majority of my CT scan results were able to be communicated. There was one item That the nurse practitioner was not aware how to communicate the explanation. Net/net The results were inconclusive of what was the root cause of traces of blood in my Urine. Even though, both nurse practitioners I met with were extremely professional, I feel that this doctors office is relying more on Nurse practitioners then providing customer service to their patients directly. In the future, I will be Reaching out to Urologist that actually see their patients in person.
Very impressed. We are here visiting and my husband was experiencing some problems from previous surgery in Atlanta. We were able to get a same-day appointment with Dr. Varun Sundaram. Everyone was so nice and the doctor really listened and offered positive suggestions. It was a great experience.
