Lo-Fi Vintage

I want to share my experience with this thrift store and why I won’t be shopping there again. First, let’s be real, the markup on used items here is incredibly high. For a thrift store, the prices are way out of line. Second, my issue isn’t with pricing but with how they handle business. I asked for a discount on a sweatshirt, and the employee (whose name I didn’t catch) agreed to give it to me. I didn’t take a receipt because I had no intention of returning the item - big mistake. Later that day, I realized I had been charged full price. When I called the store the next day, another employee picked up and claimed he didn’t know anything about it. After checking my transaction, he casually admitted I had been charged full price (which makes me doubt he was truly "unaware"). He said he’d "see what he could do" and then hung up. Unsurprisingly, nothing was done. Honestly, I’m not going to stress over extra $8 they charged me - they can keep it. But what really bothers me is the dishonesty. If they don’t do discounts, fine just say so. But agreeing to one and then going back on their word? That’s called lying, and I don’t do business with liars. It’s a huge turnoff and a terrible way to run a business.

Loved going through the vintage items here. Definitely higher scale than a re-sale or donation store so you will find a more curated selection of on-trend vintage. It won’t take you long to find something you like. Happy shopping!

this is my fav vintage store in Austin. I come every time I’m in town and always leave with several items. I think the pricing is fair for the quality of the clothes. it isn’t as cheap as some vintage spots, but there’s so many super unique, beautiful pieces so you don’t have to do as much disappointing dogging. the staff has always been very kind and cool, thank you!

I’ve been coming to this shop for years - by far one of the best vintage shops in Austin. I collect both vintage tees + denim and most of my favorites have been purchased here (you know those one of a kind items you hold onto forever and never let go). Prices are very fair for how rare + quality their curated vintage goods are and they have a little of something for everyone. Owners are also two of the nicest (+ coolest) people I’ve ever met. If you love vintage, this is the spot.
