Such a cool shop - tons of vintage record players, art, records, furniture, and more! The owners are so cool, knowledgeable, and really helpful. We ended up buying a record player from the 70s and love the way it sounds. Don’t let the weird traffic keep you from getting there; there’s construction that irregularly shuts the roads down. Living in Stereo is the best - can’t wait for their coffee shop to open up next door!
A hidden gem. This place is a throw back to classic Austin with a huge collection of vintage audio equipment for every budget, hard to find records and concert posters. If you want to catch a glimpse of what once made Austin the live music capital of the world and experience what’s left of the unique passion for music that used to bring people from all over the world to this great city, then follow google maps well past where you think you should have turned around and stop for a chat with the owners. I’d highly recommend it.
Owners were super cool guys, if youre in the market for a stereo system they know what they're doing. Also have loads of records, and if youre in the market for jacket patches they have a cool selection of custom leather ones!
Super rad vintage stereo shop with vinyl, mid century modern furniture, and a brand new coffee shop. The owners are experts on all things audio and really down to earth.

I broke my cartridge and needed a replacement right away. They got me back up and running in less than 30 minutes. There is a vast selection of top notch vintage audio equipment. If you're looking to upgrade your setup, these guys can take care of you. There is also a great selection of vinyl. 5 stars for great customer service. Sidenote: The store is super clean and adhering to all COVID protocols.
