PT's and staff are really compassionate. Lauren (the DOR?) clearly cares about the residents. Facility is in better shape than most. Not much parking near the entrance.
Please please please go somewhere else. I beg you to leave this listing and never look back. This place is horrible. We’re trying to move my mother to a better place so they can get her back on the right track with her meds that this places doctor has messed up severely. They sent a horrible letter to the place we would like to move her to and now she’s not accepted. So many problems before this. Horrible!!!!!!!
My Mother called me crying several different occasions because of the staff being mean. Where is the compassion? I would not recommend.
I would not recommend putting your loved one in this facility. My relative is currently there and has experienced a noticeable decline in the several months that they have been there. The majority of the staff is not friendly or helpful. They will often argue with you to avoid doing their duties when your loved one simply needs help with things like going to the bathroom. Instead they will leave them there to sit in their own mess. Imagine what this must feel like to a patient, especially one with dementia who does not understand where they are or what is going on and who simply wants the help for which this facility is being compensated to provide. Overall, this facility is not very clean and is in a general state of disrepair. Large areas of the walls in my relative's room are literally falling apart. The floors throughout the facility are sticky and seem to have not been properly cleaned in a long time. The smell of the place is REALLY bad. We had another relative in a different nursing home and the smell was not nearly as bad. I often become nauseated just walking into the building.
One of the best nursing homes in town, they really care about their patients, Paige the social worker is so passionate about helping her patients, even when they arrive home she is good at closing the Communication loop. Causha the director really values their employeesand treats them like Himan brings. Stephanie does a great job in engaging residents that want to do activities to help pass the time and help with fine motor skills.
I toured this place with a friend for my mother, and if she hadn’t passed when she did, we would have brought her here. It looked modern, clean, and actually has a wide range of ages among their patients. My mother was 61 and worried about not relating to the "older crowd". Also the dining room feels like a restaurant. And admin staff is also very helpful.
Horrible, horrible patient care - just terrible. A patient of ours, whom lives with this facility, was brought into our clinic, checked in, and completely left alone. Patient cannot communicate for themselves, cannot identify themselves - the patient was only left with a rolled up stack of patient information on her lap while leaning over in a wheel chair. For a patient who is 99yrs of age and be left by themselves with no aid from the facility, this was terrible patient focus and just plain care for another human as an employee who works for a place that's entirety is PATIENT CARE !
