Camp Bow Wow Austin is the best! My pups have been so happy since they have been campers for a year now! They both get so excited to hear they are going to play with their friends! Every single one of the staff members are kind, attentive, and they very obviously all love my dogs as much as I do! Such a great place with great people and the very best pups!

My beloved puppies, Dolce and Beans, have never had a good experience at boarding—UNTIL Camp Bow Wow! Beans is usually very shy and nervous, so we took her to daycare a few times beforehand to help her acclimate. It made such a difference because now she absolutely loves this place! Being able to watch them on the cameras during the day and receiving pictures of them during their stay gave us so much peace of mind. If you have a shy or nervous pup, I highly recommend trying Camp Bow Wow. The staff is amazing, and we will definitely be returning!

Camp Bow Wow is always flexible when I need to board my very large Great Pyrenees even when it’s last minute. My dog doesn’t really enjoy playing with other dogs and they accommodate her for that. They also do a great job bathing and grooming her.

I would recommend them for anyone who needs a place to board their dog.

Our babies love camp. It’s so good for them to socialize and get energy out. I specifically love that all of the team members know me and my puppies and it feels like a family. They are always on top of things and have a lot of fun activities as well. I have full confidence in the team!

My dog loves going to camp! I love that I can watch her playing on the web cam while I’m out of town. Afterwards I always get a report card about her feeding schedule, and they reliably give her medications daily. I trust Camp Bow Wow with my beloved pup.

Camp Bow Wow has been wonderful. My husband passed away 2 months ago and Ruby had spent most days with him. We were both really lost. I enrolled Ruby into Camp Bow Wow and Ruby has the best canine buddies and is no longer lonely and her behavior has settled down. I love the special activities that they do ( added price) and the hours they operate.
I cannot say enough kind things about the staff. Even though it is 7 am in the morning they are cheerful and helpful. They learn your pup’s name quickly and provide updates as to how her day has been. Another added feature is the ability to watch your pup at daycare throughout the day.

Our Golden Girls, Izzy and Ivy, have been camping out at Camp Bow Wow, Austin North, since they were pups. They are now 11 years old and still love going to camp! They get very excited when they see me packing their camping gear (food, toys, treats, you know the drill), and once we move the gear to the truck even at their age they are out the door running to the truck too! When we see how happy they are as the staff greet them we know they will be well cared for and have a good time. The staff at Camp Bow Wow are absolutely wonderful. Not only do they love our girls, and the other pups at camp, they all take responsibility of their health and safety as number one importance. One of our girls had a stomach issue on this last visit. We were out of the country and not able to be notified. Staff immediately contacted our vet and discussed the symptoms with him. They followed the directions given them by the vet and kept her on a 24 hour watch to assure no other action was needed. As soon as we had Internet access we saw the message and called Camp Bow Wow. They first assured us that both our girls were fine and filled us in on what occured, what protocols they followed and why. There are so many reasons to love Camp Bow Wow and their staff ! ❤️

This place is literally my dog’s favorite place on earth. The staff and management are honestly incredible and I can tell how much they LOVE my dog as their own. I had never put my dog (who is literally my BABY) into daycare before, so I was extremely nervous and paranoid. No matter how many times I called to get an update or check in, or repeat the same instructions over and over because I’m a helicopter dog mom, they never sounded annoyed over the phone. They were always extremely reassuring and so sweet. They take such good care of my baby. They also post soo many pictures everyday on the Facebook page so you can literally see your fur baby having the time of their life. This was my first experience with doggy daycare and I seriously could not have gotten more lucky with this place. I would personally recommend this place to any other obsessive, helicopter dog mom’s (or dad’s) lol. Btw they have such a cute outdoor play space with little kiddie pools and sprinklers for the dogs to play in. So cute

This is the best place in Austin for doggy day care and boarding. The people are super caring, loving, and enthusiastic, and it shows in all interactions.My dog goes to day care as often as possible. Sometimes I’ve boarded her, which usually causes her to be reluctant the next time we go for day care. Not at Pups and Pals! She is so excited every morning!

The daily schedule allows for group play and indoor rest. The staff evaluates the dogs’ personalities, size, and energy levels before putting them in a group. Playtime includes best friends, lots of cuddles and kisses, pools in the summer, and always playscapes. They go out anywhere between 6-8 times a day, with breaks in their air conditioned suites.

The building is super nice, very new, and the play areas have K9 grass that keeps their paws nice and clean. I especially like that it is hosed every night. BTW there’s a groomer onsite!

Just a heads up — it’s hard to see the marquis from the 1st street entrance. You really need to know what you’re looking for!

Pups and Pals is the best facility. Management does a great job hiring the best staff – they all care so much about the dogs. The dogs are separated into groups by size and temperament. Groups are rotated in and out of the outdoor play yards to ensure they get adequate playtime and rest.

My dog really came out of her shell here. She found a best friend and definitely had her favorite staff members. We are so sad to have moved out of the area because Pups and Pals is such a great place! Thank you, South Park team, for taking care of my girl!

The staff is amazing, and our dog absolutely loves coming here. He’s been nervous at other places, but this is the one spot where he feels totally at ease. He’s high energy, and the team handles him with genuine care, attention, and love. You can tell they’re carefully chosen and truly care about every pet.

One standout moment: while we were overseas, our dog got sick. A nightmare scenario! The team immediately took him to the vet, kept us updated the entire time, and went above and beyond to make sure he was okay. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing he was in great hands—and he recovered just fine. That kind of care is RARE.

Our only small gripe is that a bath was missed once or twice, likely due to scheduling or simple oversight—but they always owned it, apologized, and made it right.

Pups and Pals is truly a safe, loving haven for our pup when life or travel pulls us away. Thank you to the entire team!

I am so thankful for Pups & Pals. My dog has been going to day care at the south park location for a year now and she absolutely LOVES it. She gets so excited when I drop her off, she can’t get inside fast enough. The staff is wonderful! They are always so friendly, helpful and easy to get a hold of. They also post pictures on their Facebook & Instagram page – it brings me a lot of joy to see my pup playing with her friends and having fun. I know she is being taken care of and enjoying her time at day care and that is a great feeling.

We love My Love Fur Paws Pet resort. The staff is so friendly and very communicative. Our sweet pup loves going there for day trips and over night stays! This is the best boarding facility. While undergoing treatment for breast cancer, my three dogs 2 pointers and a chihuahua needed boarding at different times. They were not used to boarding as we are stay at home dog parents. MLFP has been great! Always happy to see them. The owner and staff welcome them and always answer our questions and give us a synopsis of their stay. Evening Cuddles for the chi who loves laps. I would definitely recommend!

Dropped our dog off today for an evaluation for boarding. Everyone was so nice and you could tell they cared about the pets there. I left the tour feeling very comfortable with the facilities and the people. I look forward to updating a review after her first stay!

We’ve been taking our dogs to My Love Fur Paws for several years now. The staff is very attentive and friendly. They are great with communication and making sure the dogs are comfortable, active and healthy. I love how the owners are always around and their core employees have all been there for years. It says a lot about the postive culture of their business.

I can’t say enough great things about My Love For Paws. Our girl, Maggie, has been going to daycare off and on for the last month. All of the photos that I see posted of her online let me know that she’s having the time of her life. Everyone at My Love For Paws genuinely cares about her and I know that she’s well cared for when I can’t be with her. I highly recommend checking them out!!

Our 9 month old pup, Birdie, just recently completed the 6 week ‘play and train’ where she went 2x a week for 6 weeks and enjoyed the doggy day care and 1-on-1 training with Mike. She came home everyday day exhausted, which is saying a lot for this energetic pup and I joined the training sessions every Monday so I can replicate the training at home. She’s really improved her loose leash walking, staying in her “place”, sitting before walking through thresholds and recall. We continue to send Birdie there weekly because she loves it so much and to re-enforce those newly learned skills.

We just took our dogs for their first day here and they had a great time. All the staff were super friendly and helpful from getting them set up for their first day to greeting us and touring the facilities. Our dogs came home both happy and tired! 🙂 We look forward to many more play days to come!

The only place I will take my dog for day care of boarding is Jackie’s! The staff are great and she comes home exhausted every time. I really appreciate the fact they offer additional services like dog washing and nail clipping so she comes home smelling and looking fantastic. Highly recommend!

We’ve been bringing our dog, Gus, to Jackie’s for years, and it truly feels like his second home. The staff is so kind and always spoils him with love, making every visit a happy one. He gets so excited to go, and we have complete peace of mind knowing he’s in such great hands – either for a play day or when boarding for a long weekend. Jackie’s Play & Stay is amazing! Angel, the general manager, is super welcoming and always gives the best info. She even sends us pictures of our pups, Jasper and Caspian, we can see how happy they are. Our dogs used to be a little nervous around other dogs, especially Jasper, but now they’re both social butterflies, playing with everyone. This place really helped them come out of their shells! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a caring and fun daycare for their dogs.

The Jackie’s team is incredible. My dog has been going there for daycare for almost a year and I have so much trust in everyone who works there. My dog sleeps deeply after a Jackie’s day, gets baths and teeth cleanings there, and is always excited when we pull into the parking lot. The team is always very responsive and organized. I have been taking my dog to Jackie’s for a year or so now, it is wonderful. The staff is wonderful and my dog loves it there. My poor puppy is getting very old and unable to attend, I had pre bought a 20 day package. I informed Jackie’s that my poor boy is not able to attend, they refunded my money and sent a wonderful note. I will always bring my dogs here.

Deja loves her stays at Auntie Jackie’s!!!! 10/10 recommend! The nicest people! Deja gets to play for hours, and I totally trust the care she receives.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE! We made the best decision ever putting our pups in their care when we go on vacation. Truly feel confident with their system and the staff. I love that they have more than one person in the yard for play time, ensures our kiddos get lots of attention from humans and other doggos. We absolutely love Pups and Pals! Our mini schnauzers, Tux and Charley, are always thrilled to go—whether it’s for doggie daycare or boarding while we’re on vacation. It gives us such peace of mind knowing they’re in such good hands.

The staff is truly fabulous—every single person we’ve met has been so caring, kind, and clearly loves what they do. You can tell they treat every dog like their own, and it makes such a difference.

One of my favorite things is the daily Facebook photo updates. It’s such a joy to see Tux and Charley having a blast with their pup pals while we’re away. And when we pick them up, they’re happy, healthy, and totally worn out from all the fun!

It’s a well run place with sweet people. Our pup was shy to begin with and had been turned away by groomers because of anxiety. Here he loves to come and play. He stayed 12 nights once and we didn’t have a single problem. If at all, he came back more confident. Went into water, let them clip his nails and groom – all of which are not his things. 🙂 It seems each and every person working there truly loves dawgs . Highly recommend this place.

We are so lucky to have found Pups & Pals just recently! I wish we found them sooner!! The entire staff is incredible. You can just tell that they love each and every dog so much! Our pup, Ravioli has been going 2x a week sometimes 3x and he has so much fun with all his buddies! Once we get home he is POOPED and it’s so nice to know he got plenty of exercise and enrichment while we’re at work. We can’t recommend them enough!

I bring my babies to Pups and Pals Oak Hill and I could not be more grateful for the staff and this place! We actually brought our first to Pups and Pals South Park when she was a baby to socialize and get to be around other dogs and they were perfect with her. We moved to Dripping, now use the Oak Hill location and are just as happy! My second I started bringing to continue to socialize and get him out of his shell and he is really starting to do so thanks to Pups and Pals. Zander, Liz and Ashley are two of the most incredible staff that P&P has. They both take incredible care of my dogs, update me on the day, make sure they are safe and comfortable throughout the day and will always give me an update, if needed! We are going to board for the first time next month and I am very confident my two will do awesome thanks to P&P Staff. We are so lucky to have this place so close to home. We need a little extra with our puppy and everyone there has been amazing. Communication is top notch, all staff are above and beyond wonderful, and they continue to love and care for our crazy, spunky, wild girl!

The best company for puppy day care or boarding! My dog always cries when we leave because he wants to go play again! The staff are all super sweet and passionate and everyone takes safety very seriously. Your dog *must* pass an interview process to be considered and staff always notify you if they notice anything off (like a weird bump or any joint soreness). Daily pictures are posted of every dog so you can check in on your babies. Bottom line, take your dog here. I’ve added a photo taken by the team to show just how happy my little old guy is when he stays!

Disappointed by Lack of Observation and Communication –

We chose this kennel for our dog’s boarding based on its many positive reviews. We were hopeful that the personal attention mentioned by other customers would be a good fit for our slightly anxious husky mix, and we even paid for him to be bathed before we picked him up.

Unfortunately, shortly after we got home, I discovered that he had chewed his tail quite severely, leaving a noticeable open wound. I understand that a new environment can be stressful, and I don’t blame the kennel for my dog’s anxiety. My frustration is with the fact that this was apparently never noticed or, if it was, never communicated to me. Given that we paid for a bath, the wound should have been impossible to miss by anyone handling his tail.

I reached out to the kennel to ask if any staff had seen him chewing his tail or had noticed the injury. They told me they would look into it, but that was several days ago, and I have yet to receive a response.

While the facility itself seems fine, the lack of basic observation and poor follow-up communication is concerning. We are upset and disappointed to find that what we hoped would be a positive experience ended in us needing to pay for veterinary care for our dog.

Our favorite dog kennel in Austin! We’ve been through a few with our two dogs, but they love this place the most. And we do too!

God bless the staff who run it, they are incredible folks who truly love the animals they watch over.

Also, this is the only place that my attached schnauzer has NO problems going to. I hand them his leash and he trots off with them without a glance back towards me… It kinda hurts but I know it’s a good sign that means he loves it here hahah

The two dogs we board here are two fixed males: one large size, a senior border collie mix- and a younger, medium size mini schnauzer mix. They both get the love and attention they deserve.

TLDR: It’s so nice to leave our dogs here and travel without stressing. We know they’re being so well taken care of!!!

Kenneled and groomed my 2 dogs here and had a great experience!! My dogs even got out of the car without trouble when we went back and they ate their food with no problem during their stay, which speaks wonders about the staff here! My eldest dog, my grumpy old man, is a realllly hard dog to groom, but their groomer Jennifer handled him like a champ! So going back for all my kennel and grooming needs. Oh, and there is a lot of land for the dogs to run around on!

Had a very great experience here. My dog gets very nervous in places she’s not familiar with. The staff knew exactly how to handle her & seemed knowledgeable on how to approach nervous/reactive dogs. My dog seemed so happy when I picked her up & I could tell that she enjoyed her time here. Will be a returning customer again (:

I love SkyBlue Kennels. My puppies have the biggest smiles when they are there. It does not matter if it playtime or bath time, Khaleesi and Bombay love being there. I am glad I found a place where my dogs are loved. Julie Jones (owner) is dedicated to making my dogs experience at SkyBlue amazing. Since they have opened, I have boarded, day camped, groomed and done advanced training for my fur babies. Each time they have exceeded my expectations. After googling “special needs dog boarding” for our shadow chasing, reactive dog, we found SkyBlue. I’ve never felt calmer boarding our dog! They remember who Posey is every time we call, send the cutest pictures, and even keep her in a kennel without direct sunlight so she can’t chase shadows. Best pet food store in town. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and the best part is you can return anything if it doesn’t work including food, no questions asked and gets donated to local shelters. Same-day delivery and Pet Club are just great perks and we love shopping local for our dog’s food.

The service here is exceptional, every time I’ve been in, it feels like you’re talking to the owner in a small town family run store. It doesn’t feel like they’re trying to sell you something, just wanting to chat with you. But I’ve also been in here without wanting to chat and they respect it too 🙂

The store is well organized. All the staffs are so friendly and very helpful. A lot of organic option. And they even have a good treats displayed for your pups.

The kindest staff took so much time and effort to help me find something my geriatric dog who hasn’t ben eating would eat. They were down on hands and knees helping him try food or treats. I’m so impressed at the customer service. They’ve completely won over my business.

Everytime I go here, the employees are extremely nice and almost overly-helpful! They’re knowledgable of what they have in the store.

The store is also kept pretty clean and doesn’t smell much like a petstore at all, with the exception of the bulk dog treat isle.

Overall, very good place. My one complaint is that the cat isle is very small compared to the rest of the store but if you dont own cats, then it shouldn’t be a problem.

If you were looking for a dog boarding in Austin, Texas it is no hassle under $40 a day/night and as simple as they could make it, This is your place. I read a review four months ago from Amber Whitaker, who looks to be wanting her dog boarded at an intensive care unit in a veterinary hospital. Nothing that that review said has happened in my six uses of this place. They’re wonderful people, If your trip gets extended, they’ll always work with you. And if you come home early, they don’t charge you for the days you reserved.

Ricky Bobby and Shake n Bake (2 year old labs) had a grand old time at APR!!!! They made lots of friends and as always LOVED the Fulkersons and Chase ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ best vacay ever because we knew these two were happy!

Nicole and David and everyone at Austin Pet Ranch have been wonderful to our dog and to us. They treated her like their own family member and kept in touch h with us when she wasn’t feeling well while we were on vacation. They went way above and beyond for our dog and our family and we are exceptionally thankful.

Austin Pet ranch staff are super patient, competent , understanding, passionate and non-judgmental. Most importantly for me though is that they individualize support based on my dogs ridiculously specific needs. She’s is a small rescue chihuahua but with big emotional/behavioral issues. They will bring her outside on her own and slowly introduce her to other shy dogs instead of sending her out with the whole pack. The incredible staff will literally carry her outside if needed to make sure she gets some sunshine and bathrooms (she dramatically protests food and movement for the first couple days). Once I needed her to take meds daily and that wasn’t remotely a problem. Another time they provided wet dog food since my Chihuahua was protesting her dry food. I couldn’t recommend this place more – I actually travel 30 minutes just to leave her here. I’ve left her for up to 10 days without any issues. The pricing is also wildly reasonable! Love this place!!

Austin Pet Ranch is the definition of dog people!!! My dogs are my fur babies and most say they live a better life than most humans and that is why I only trust my babies at Austin Pet Ranch! They cater to my dogs needs and my request for them. The staff genuinely love, care, play and go above and beyond to make sure the dogs get all the love and attention they deserve! Every time we pull up my dogs start barking with excitement to be there and it’s even better when they know them by names! We have been in a pickle a time or two with needing last minute care and Austin Pet Ranch always comes to the rescue!!! The staff not only cares about your pets but you as a person!!! I could go on and on about how wonderful our experience has been but my dogs happy demeanor says it all! I would highly recommend Austin Pet Ranch for your pets home away from home.

Our heeler mix is an extremely high energy dog, which makes her really difficult for typical dog sitters. Michael and Green Acres Pet Ranch have been an absolute blessing, because not only can they handle her rowdy go-go-go behavior, but she also comes back to us happily exhausted after a great day of playing with the other dogs.

Michael and his staff are highly professional, provide a nice and safe environment for the dogs in their care, and have great communication with us. I have no complaints and the highest praise for what they do.

This has been our go-to boarding spot in Austin for the past two years. Michael cares about dogs’ safety and satisfaction. My wife and I always trust that, when we bring our two-year-old dog to Green Acres, he will be on a little vacation playing with the other dogs on this large property with plenty of space to run around. We’ve tried three other places around town, and this is by far our favorite because of Michael’s supervision and the other dog friends who regularly board with him. Our dog is always ready to sleep for half a day after a visit.

The costs are very affordable, and the service is top-of-the-line. I recommend Green Acres Pet Ranch to anyone with a furry friend.

I don’t even know how to express my gratitude for Green Acres Pet Ranch and the owner Michael. I am new to Texas and I was a bit nervous about finding a spot to board my dog so I could travel back to California to see family. My dog has now been several times for the day boarding and always comes home happy and pooped from running around.

I like that Michael does an initial consultation before allowing day boarding and overnight boarding to make sure your dog would fit into his current pack of dogs. He keeps the little ones and big pups separate which I think is such a great idea.

Oh and I can’t forget to mention just how beautiful the grounds are! The first time I went there it was just to scope it out and Michael let me walk around the property a bit. It’s like a dogs paradise , I even joked that I wish I could stay there. So peaceful

Drop off and pick up are easy peasy you just let him know when you cross the gate and he heads outside to get everything situated. He is an incredibly kind and i can see that the dogs love him and respect him. Thank you Michael!

I have only been taking my dogs here for two months and they absolutely love it at Green Acres. They are so excited to jump into the car and make the drive there that I am sure it has cured them of any anxiety of the car, knowing good things are coming. I love that they seem so well worn at the end of the day from play that they pass out for a good couple of hours.

My Benji is a reactive puppy because he had been attacked at another dog park when I first got him. Michael was so kind and eased all my fears about him getting along with other dogs. Wow! I wish I could give 10 stars! My bouncy 80lb two-year-old always comes home absolutely exhausted! As soon as she gets to our house the fatigue sets in and lasts until the next morning with just a half day of play. I could not be more happy!!! I was really satisfied bringing my good boy here. They are very kind and you can tell they love dogs. My dogs food was a little complex and they were able to feed him accordingly. My dog was happy to be there. I would bring my dog here again.

This is the best pet sitting service that we have experienced. Our 2 (almost 3 ) yr old yorkie poo absolutely adores all of the staff! The new groomer is so talented and keeps my pup looking his best. The boarding, daycare and grooming are all top notch. Thank you to the entire team! Our fur baby adores you all. ❤️

Great staff! They take wonderful care of my dog. My dog takes a lot of medication and the staff makes sure he never misses a dose. He’s always healthy and happy when I pick him up. I definitely recommend D Pet Hotels.

I can’t say enough positive things about this dog hotel! My dog Luna has high anxiety and severe separation anxiety, so leaving her anywhere is always a challenge for me. But from the moment I dropped her off, the staff made me feel completely at ease—and more importantly, they made Luna feel safe and loved.

They provided such personalized care, really taking the time to understand Luna’s needs and personality. It was clear they weren’t just going through the motions—they genuinely cared about her well-being. What touched me most was how they helped her start to come out of her shell. Luna even began socializing a bit with other dogs, which is huge for her!

I also really appreciated the frequent updates—photos, messages, and thoughtful check-ins that let us know exactly how she was doing. It meant so much to feel connected while we were away.

If you have a dog who needs that extra level of attention and compassion, this is absolutely the place. Luna came home happy, calm, and clearly well cared for— I am so grateful.

We have been taking our little fur baby to D’S since she was a baby and now she’s 11! There was an interval when they were closed and we were traveling (of course we take her with, but she has had sleep overs too! We recently started back, and she LOVES it again! She adores Ben and the groomer! We would not leave her if we were not confident of the attention and care she gets!
