Azul Rooftop

Beautiful rooftop experience, especially as night fell. It was more of a small plate experience, set in outdoor lounge furniture - comfy but not supportive of you have a bad back. We stared oft with a cheese and corn based dip- esquites- with highly seasoned corn chips. It might have been the highlight. We tried tacos - barbacoa and chicken - both types were delicious. We also tried the la Leche cheesecake and the chocolate mousse. I didn't feel we went wrong with either choice. Service was OK. Could've been a little more attentive, especially since it wasn't busy the night we went. Her first comment was something like, " If you don't like what's on the menu, there's a restaurant downstairs. " Management presence was strong and welcoming, however. Oh- you have to stop at registration to get a key that will get you the elevator ride up to the 20th floor for this experience.

Great place to hangout for drinks. This is our go to spot when guests visit from out of town. No need to stay at the hotel for access. I do recommend to book a table at least a week ahead. They also have a pool.

Azul Rooftop is a very fun experience — being at the tallest rooftop in Austin makes it feel special. The breeze was wonderful, and the frozen drinks did not disappoint. I especially enjoyed the hibiscus margarita, which was refreshing and tasty. That said, it’s definitely a no-frills rooftop. The space is a bit on the small side and can get pretty packed. The view isn’t the best either, since a lot of nearby construction takes away from the skyline. Still, it’s worth checking out for the atmosphere and drinks — just be sure to get a reservation to make the most of your visit.

Rented two cabanas for my partner’s birthday, and this place was incredible! The pool wasn’t too busy, the food and drinks were well-priced, and our servers made sure we were taken care of! Sabrina was our main server/bartender and she did such a great job making sure we had everything we needed. She was working hard with other tables/groups and still made sure we were taken care of. Would absolutely come back!

It really feels like you can see the entire city from here. The tacos were amazing. I had the brisket and also the chorizo. We were over 15 minutes late and she still sat us in our reserved seats. That was nice. Show up about 20 minutes early just to find decent parking. You will have to walk to the place. Especially for my women wearing heels. Wear wedges. We found parking in a garage down the street. If Azul is on your right, make a left at the next light and the parking garage is on the right. Very small menu. Not a full meal but small meals and drinks. This is more for the vibe. The pool is amazing of you bring your trunks.

Whether she was crafting a perfectly balanced cocktail or sharing a laugh with guests, she embodied everything you'd want from a high-end lounge experience.
