We had two back-to-back escape room experiences here and left extremely satisfied. After doing Prison Break with Spencer we knew we had to come back. Spencer was not only a great game guide but also super personable and gave us a recommendation for another escape room in Houston that we’re planning to check out before heading back to California. His energy and genuine enthusiasm made our first visit unforgettable.
The next night, we did Cosmic Crisis with Joe, who also gave us an awesome experience. But the biggest shoutout goes to Hailey, the general manager, who personally followed up with us after our first game and went above and beyond to make sure our second visit was smooth and memorable. Hailey even made our booking private and ensured every detail was taken care of. Her kindness and communication really stood out.
Also wanted to thank Taylor for calling ahead when we were running late. Despite the delay, we were still fully accommodated and got our full time, which we really appreciated.
The staff here is truly amazing. Friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about creating memorable experiences. Spencer, Hailey, and the whole team made this a big highlight of our trip!

I’m one of those people that would second guess paying to escape a room. With that being said this place completely changed my mind about escape rooms!! Stella was very very kind & her energy was great. We honestly had a BLAST in ‘the playground’ escape room. I don’t wanna ruin any surprises but the part at the end that required ‘teamwork’ was so adorable and really had every single one of us working together! We finished with 12 minutes to spare. It was truly a one of a kind experience.

10 -11 and 12 year old boys plus my husband and me. Whew! Hazel was our game master and she was so good at “reading the room” – dropping hints (not answers!) when the boys were getting frustrated or losing the plot. She also helped ensure they were successful without giving too much away. My son is already hoping to go back next year for his birthday! And as a bonus, the kids employees made a cute card for my son.

The Escape Game Austin is an absolute blast and I highly recommend it, especially for team bonding! They offer a wide range of themes, each with its own unique challenges and atmosphere. The staff are consistently nice and friendly, which really adds to the experience. We had a great time tackling ‘Classified,’ and I’m already looking forward to trying another theme on our next visit!

This was my first escape room in Austin, Texas, and I had an absolute blast In the cosmic escape room!
We were with a group of six other people that didn’t know each other, and it was still a great experience.
Cam was the employee that helped us out (even though we didn’t take a single clue and escaped with 11 mins remaining!) I will definitely be back!

We did the playground escape room and even thought it’s meant for 12 people, we were able to do it with 4 with a minute to spare! We had so much fun and Cam was awesome with giving us hints to figure out the room! Highly recommend The Escape Game!

This was so much fun! Played the Gold Rush with Cam as our guide and he was great! Gave us the right clues at the right times. We played with only two people and got pretty far but if we had about eight people, it was sad to be a lot easier so recommend going with more people

Uly, Bryan, Evan and Erica were absolutely amazing had such a great experience at this rooftop bar! Not only was the view incredible, but the service truly made the night. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, super friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. It’s rare to find a place where the energy, atmosphere, and service all come together this well. We’ll definitely be back!

Danny is hands down one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had! Super friendly, makes you feel welcome right away, and knows how to mix a great drink. He’s got a great vibe and keeps the energy fun. Definitely the kind of bartender that makes you want to come back!

The atmosphere was pretty good, on the second floor with an outside patio at the base of a highrise. The drinks were good, and the food was alright. We had a Honey-Dew Margarita and an Old Fashioned-though the Old Fashioned was under a different name, but obvious. I really liked the margarita but the old fashioned, was like the food, alright. When I travel or go to different places I like trying the old fashions and the steaks. We had appetizers and had had the nachos, which were smothered in a sauce, it was okay, not good, not great and the chips got soggy fast. I wish I would have seen the nacho options of adding a meat, it really would have made them go from alright to good. It would have been nice if the waitress recommended a meat, but she didn’t. We also had the Green Chili Queso with Lime-Salted Plantains which were like “banana crisp-chips”. They were different, they were good, but don’t think I would do them again. I prefer the tortilla chips. Other food dishes I saw being delivered to customers looked well presented and tasty. The service was good and there were flat screens playing sports and it appeared to be family friendly.

Friendly, attentive staff. We came after happy hour, but our server still gave us HH prices. Food was fresh and tasty, especially the shrimp tacos and guac. Beer choices were limited, and music wasn’t great. Would still go back for the food.

We stopped here for a quick lunch last week. It was great! I loved the nachos. We also each had a taco. I got the brisket taco and my husband got the pork. He said the pork was good but liked the brisket better.

Okay, wow…
The Upstairs at Caroline on Congress just officially became my new Austin hangout spot! This place has all the fun, laid-back energy I love, but with an elevated twist. It’s perfect for downtown happy hours, date nights, or just catching up with friends over a killer drink.Truly a fun spot for work and play! It’s also attached to a hotel, so need a location for a getaway or if you have a work networking need. This is it!
The patio is a total showstopper: heaters, fire pit, has indoor and outdoor area, patio games, and stunning views of the heart of the City! Inside? Sleek, stylish, and somehow still cozy. Austin chic at its finest.
The menu is a twist on Mexican food favorites, plus a seriously impressive drink selection. This Latina Mexican Border raised girly was shook! They have different happy hour specials everyday! Today we got $4 street tacos, shrimp, adobo chicken, and carnitas and we shared the Mexican chop salad! We got one frozen and one on the rock Guava Margaritas!
The food is delicious, the drinks are on point, and my waiter Tanner who took care of us was an absolute gem. He was friendly, attentive, and clearly loves what he does. Honestly, the whole staff gives off “we actually enjoy being here” energy, and it makes the whole experience even better.
Put this place on your list the next time you are in Downtown Austin! You won’t regret it!

Escape Hour was really fun! We did Call of the Ancient and it was a really good room. Challenging and really unique puzzles. We have been to different escape rooms all over TX and other states too and this one was definitely a great place! We will be back!

Our group of 4 has collectively done a ton of escape rooms over the years, and none have been talked about with such laughter afterwards as this one: The Cabin pt. 1. Sabina, our game master, is insanely good at her job (once you do the room you’ll understand why I’m saying that) and made the experience that much more immersive for us from the moment we walked up to the entrance of the building.
I will say that we would never dream of taking our preteens to this room. Jump scares are one thing, but this room does a phenomenal job of creating suspense in every moment. Not what I want my kids feeling at their age. But when they are much older, they will hopefully get to have as much fun as we had in The Cabin (or at least afterwards when we felt safe again).

Amazing experience as soon as you step through the door. Leia was a brilliant host, I couldn’t stop smiling because of her enthusiasm and love of the job. Our group did The Cabin: Final Chapter and had a blast. We screamed, we laughed, and we escaped! Thank you again, Leia! You are awesome. We have done almost every room at Escape Hour and always have a great time. The puzzles are challenging but intuitive and everything flows really well. Hands down the best escape room in the Austin area (worth the drive)!

Best escape rooms in Austin! We did the Cabin chapter 3 with a group of 4 and it was great. Our guide, June, was fantastic as well and prepared us with all the info we needed. Horror fans will love this room. The atmosphere is the top quality and the puzzles are challenging. We escaped with 4 minutes to spare. We will be coming back for more rooms!

Really well-designed and maintained rooms. Family owned business and you can tell they really care about creating awesome experiences for people that love escape rooms. We’ve now completed all 3 chapters of the Cabin and highly recommend the entire series. If you like a little horror in your escape room experience, those rooms are the for you. Most unique experiences in an escape room and we’ve done hundreds all over the world. Leah was a fantastic actress!

Came here on a whim and it did not disappoint!! We did Dead man’s cove which is a pirate themed escape room and it was really cool!! The rooms truly do match to the theme and it wasn’t difficult at all…except for one part only. The game master Lee was amazing and did a great job at explaining everything to us! They were so nice! 🙂 We will definitely come back to try the Cabin part 1 & 2!!!

This was our first escape room experience and wow what a time we had doing the Cabin part 1! It was INTENSE! We were so scared during the experience and haven’t stopped laughing since leaving. It was one of the most fun things we have done!
Ciana was amazing from start to finish and provided just the right amount of assistance when my brain was too overwhelmed.
I can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back and can’t wait for the cabin part 2!

Did a fun birthday resort pass here and enjoyed every minute. The daybed had our name on it and our server, Jae, was literally soooo attentive. They saw that we went into the pool without our drinks and brought them over to us and gave us another ice bucket to keep our drinks cold in the Texas heat. There wasn’t one moment where I was looking for our server. Instead, our server anticipated our needs and preempted us. My husband really said that this is the level of service that makes such a difference. Everything was top notch. Will be returning for sure.

My husband and I visited this park on a whim during our last trip to Austin to celebrate family. This park has been glued to my mind since we left.
It wasn’t too hot, despite being summer in TX, thanks to the glorious amounts of shade in each area. I loved how grounding it was to be fully immersed in nature while walking the trails, exploring the creek, or diving into the swimming hole. Others at the creek were polite and considerate, adorably sectioned off into each their own little slices of heaven.
Something that especially stuck out to me was how the limestone (I think?) rock structure (forgive me, I’m no geologist) serves as a natural “built in” diving board/ladder. There’s a short cliff like ledge that hangs over the water, perfect for cannonballs. It’s mostly solid besides a couple scattered holes sitting in the perfect spots for climbing back up to the stable ground above. While it’s not particularly my kind of fun, it’s a joy watching families splash in together and climb up to do it all over again.
Regrettably, we didn’t time manage well enough to spend as many hours here as I would have liked. Now that we know it’s here though, we will come back with plans, booking an entire day, at least, to explore all this park has to offer! Or as much as we can at the very least. 😀
Will update with more love/pictures when we take our next trip to Austin in October

An amazing trails, it’s easy to get around and has such beautiful sites, it was my first hike and I loved every bit of it. It also gives a history as you go through and it’s really lovely so alhamdulillah for this trial. I felt safe and the people on the trails are very kind esp the workers. Thank you it took the onion creek trail ( for hiking and bikes )

We had a great visit, even though were rained out most of the visit. The part is great in it’s location if you want to see Austin, but definitely still feels “away”. The campground were very nice and the access to Onion Creek to play in the water is wonderful. Unfortunately, we did not get to check out the trails. The staff, facilities, visitors center and all else was great. We’ll be back for a visit with better weather!

Jeremiah was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to get my kids, puppers and me a last-minute campsite reservation, even though they were about to close. The entire staff was nothing short of awesome. We had a great camping experience and felt very safe, especially with the nightly patrols.
The campsite itself is truly beautiful, with plenty of room and a wonderful campfire area. We especially loved the gorgeous Onion Creek swimming hole and waterfall. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that I hope others get to enjoy!

I had wanted to test my camping gear for a while and didn’t know McKinney Falls state park was available right in my back yard! The staff was super friendly, the showers and bathrooms were clean (as clean as a park restroom can be) and the site offered no issues. Also the price to camp was really cheap! I’ll definitely be back and going to try and plan a friends cabin weekend here at some point. Highly recommended and a heartfelt good job to the rangers and staff of the park!

McKinney Falls State Park is a true urban oasis, offering a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of Austin without ever having to leave the city. The park’s main attractions, the upper and lower falls on Onion Creek, are a stunning sight and the perfect place to cool off on a hot day. The limestone ledges and flowing water create a beautiful and rugged landscape that feels a world away from the city.
Beyond the falls, the park boasts nearly nine miles of trails for hiking and biking, catering to all skill levels. The paved Onion Creek Hike and Bike Trail is a great option for families with strollers or those looking for an easy, scenic ride. More adventurous hikers can explore the Homestead Trail, which winds through historic ruins, including the remains of Thomas F. McKinney’s homestead and gristmill. The park is also home to “Old Baldy,” a magnificent bald cypress tree estimated to be over 500 years old.
With its well-maintained campsites, cabins, and a variety of activities like fishing, birding, and geocaching, McKinney Falls is a fantastic destination for a day trip or an overnight stay. The park’s blend of natural beauty, historical significance, and diverse recreational opportunities makes it a gem for both locals and visitors. It’s a highly recommended spot for anyone looking to connect with nature right in the heart of Austin.

If you’re visiting Austin and want the perfect mix of adventure, history, and chill vibes, McKinney Falls State Park is it. Tucked just minutes from downtown, this 744-acre paradise feels like a world away.
We camped right inside the park (highly recommend!), and it became our home base while we explored all things Austin. After a day packed with city sights, nothing—and I mean nothing—beat cooling off in the waterfalls. Imagine the Texas heat, then suddenly you’re floating in crystal-clear creek water surrounded by limestone rocks and shaded cypress trees. Absolute bliss.
The falls themselves? Straight out of a postcard. Upper Falls is serene, perfect for relaxing. Lower Falls has deeper pools for swimming and a more rugged vibe—great for photos and quick dips.
Bonus: there are trails, ancient rock shelters, and even ruins of a historic homestead to explore. It’s nature, history, and camping magic all rolled into one.

I have been to a few events here and they have all been great. Parking is always the challenge because so much of the nearby parking is UT permit stuff but you can usually find something not too far away for $20 or less.
I have always been able to locate a person with the venue to ask any questions I had about seating etc.
They wanted to charge me $3 to get an actual ticket printed as a keepsake which I hard passed on.
Overall not a bad place to attend an event!
I will definitely continue to attend performances here

I’ve been a season subscriber at Bass Concert Hall for over a decade, and it’s become such a special tradition in my life. I started going with my spouse, and now I get to share the magic with my kids—it’s something I hope to continue with my family for many more decades.
The Broadway lineups are always fantastic, mixing in new must-see shows with timeless classics that never get old. The hall itself is absolutely beautiful—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit that much more enjoyable.
Recently, we had the chance to do a backstage tour, and it was incredible to see all the behind-the-scenes magic that brings these productions to life. Beyond Broadway, I’ve also seen concerts and comedy shows here, and every performance feels elevated by the space.
Bass Concert Hall is truly a cornerstone of Austin’s performing arts scene, and I feel lucky to have it right here in our city.

We went to a Kraftwerk concert, and it was simply amazing. The venue is also a great place to experience concerts the closer you can get to the main stage the better Orchestra level seems to have no bad seats, other levels of the venue have algo great views of the stage as well as sound quality. Parking is very convenient and close to the music hall. The staff was very helpful.

I recently saw Swan Lake at Bass Concert Hall, and it was nothing short of breathtaking. The performance was stunning, but what truly elevated the experience was the venue itself. The stage is perfectly set up to draw you into the story, and the acoustics made every note and movement feel alive.
What I especially loved is that every seat in the theater feels like a great seat, thoughtfully placed and designed so you never feel far from the magic. The ambiance, the lighting, and the overall layout of the hall added so much to the elegance of the night.
If you’re thinking about seeing a performance here, don’t hesitate. Bass Concert Hall is a gem, and Swan Lake was an unforgettable evening I’ll cherish for a long time!

We had a great time checking out the Handsome podcast live here! The sound quality is good, there are a few bars on each level, and the view was great from where we sat in the mezzanine area. The bars had a selection of tall boy, beers, sparkling, seltzers, and a couple of signature cocktails, with non-alcoholic options too. We took the stairs, but they have a few elevators on each side of the building. The bathrooms were very nice and clean. Transportation by rideshare was easy to and from downtown Austin.

I have season seats here for all the musicals that come to town. The theatre is beautiful inside and out HOWEVER, the sounds system is subpar. My seats are on the 13th row and every musical, I have trouble hearing what people are saying. The music is loud, the people’s voices, not so much. I’ve even worn amplifiers in my ears and they barely help. I think it’s time for new speakers personally. Also the prices for snacks and drinks are highway robbery. If you’ll ever change have a purse, take your own. Charging 8 dollars for a bag of pretzels is insane

We went here for “the Witcher in concert” event. The atmosphere is great, the seats are comfortable, and it provides good view of the scene.
The sound quality can be better though.

This place is absolutely wonderful in all the ways you would want a jazz music venue to be. Let’s get to the basics:
1. The service is amazing, fast, and friendly
2. The music is of the utmost top quality professional musicians.
3. The location is easily accessible (as soon as all this construction downtown is finished)
4. The atmosphere is the best part about the whole facility. Dimly lit, not too crowded, and perfect for a date night.
-The only reason I don’t leave 5 stars is because no food. With food choices, I’ll come back and update my review to 5 stars.

Watched the BIG BRASS BAND that plays every second Tuesday, AMAZING! Waitstaff was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. The basement feel lends to a Speakeasy and the atmosphere was relaxed. Took a friend of mine to listen to the music, she was blown away! Will be returning when I am back in town. Stop by and check them out. You will not regret it!

This is exactly the place you would expect to see live jazz. In a basement, low level lighting, just you and the band. Waiters and staff were very accommodating and friendly. They only serve drinks, but allow outside food in. In fact, they encourage it. We arrived early for the first singer and after they finished their set, we decided we were hungry. We had a great table and didn’t want to lose it, so the staff put a reservation on our table to let us walk a couple blocks down and grab some food to bring back. They even removed our trash when we were finished. Amazing staff and perfect ambiance.

This Jazz centric, old time Austin haunt has a special place in my heart. I have been coming here for over 30 years and enjoyed every single time. I was not lucky enough to have be an original Austinite but as they say, got here as fast as I could. I have seen Austin change from a smallish, music centered town to a sort of big city wanna be Mecca yet, The Elephant Room keeps on being a magnet for those of us who believe we are relevant and a part of Austin history. You know what, if you come spend some time listening to what they have to offer you just might become that. I know in my mind what I have experienced by sharing in this Austin institution is special. I encourage you to experience it, there’s only one. Try it.

Come for the jazz leave for the drinks. Elephant Room is a fantastic jazzy escape right on Congress Ave that is one of the greatest examples of Austin’s true love for music.
The setting is very intimate with low lighting throughout and a lot of tables aligning the path down to the stage. We were able to snag a table pretty close up but we would recommend getting there early as the place was decently full for a Thursday night (also to beat their cover that begins at 8; cover amount depends on the day of week). The service is friendly and quick with ordering and getting drinks.
Obviously with any jazz bar, the music is the main show and the band was great. They performed a few different styles of jazz and it all sounded fantastic with funny little skits in between their sets. It’s very easy to see why Elephant Room is a go to for many music lovers in the city. I will warn however that the drinks were not great. With a limited cocktail menu we went with familiar favorites of ours and none of us were very impressed with what we received. The Manhattan was very strong, even for a bourbon centric cocktail. The espresso martini was just alright but not as good as many other places. And lastly, the jazz juice just wasn’t as sweet and flavorful as other traditional rum punches. They do have a decent wine and beer selection so maybe stick to those.
You can’t go wrong with great music and that’s exactly what Elephant Room provides. Although the drinks were a miss, the atmosphere and setting are a can’t miss and we highly recommend anyone looking for a casual date night to head here ASAP.

The Elephant Room is hands-down one of Austin’s most iconic hidden gems and a must-visit for any jazz lover. Tucked away underground on Congress Avenue, it’s got that perfect speakeasy vibe—dim lighting, cozy seating, and walls that seem to hum with decades of music history. The atmosphere is intimate and inviting, making it just as enjoyable for a casual night out as it is for a deep appreciation of live music.
The talent here is consistently top-notch. Whether it’s a local legend or a touring act, the musicians bring their A-game, and the acoustics make every note feel like it’s just for you. There’s something magical about being only a few feet away from such incredible performers.
The drinks are well-made and reasonably priced for downtown Austin, and the bartenders know how to keep the mood relaxed and friendly. Service is quick, even on busy nights, and there’s a great selection of beer, wine, and cocktails to suit any taste.
One of my favorite things is how unpretentious the place feels. It’s not about flashy gimmicks—it’s about the music, the vibe, and the people.
If you’re in Austin and want a true live music experience that captures the city’s soul, The Elephant Room should be at the very top of your list.

I read a review that said “Come for the jazz, leave for the drinks” and I couldn’t agree more.
The Elephant Room is a basement jazz bar with music every night. Their daily hours and cover charge depend on the day of the week. They have a calendar of performers on their website. We got to see the Elias Haslanger Quintet, and they were absolutely wonderful. The music is not too loud, even with a relatively close seat.
We came on a Saturday a little after 9 pm (which is when the headliner was starting that night), and there was already a line out the door. We waited at least 30 minutes to be seated. The room itself has a non-ideal layout; it’s a long room with a bar that runs along the left side, and a small stage at the end of the room. The issue is, there are pillars that support the ceiling, which completely block your view of the performers if you’re seated anywhere near the bar or towards the back of the room. We were initially seated at the bar, but we were able to switch to a better table after seeing a group of people leaving.
As for the drinks, we tried the jazz juice (the description on the menu says it’s a traditional rum punch) and the placebo (a non-alcoholic cocktail, bartender’s choice). When I think of rum punch, I think of rum and fruit juices, and perhaps a sweetener. Unfortunately, this rum punch only had one flavor: anise/licorice. Licorice is an incredibly polarizing flavor – some people love it, but personally I find it incredibly off-putting. I really wish the description on their menu specified this ingredient; if it did, I would’ve known not to order it. Sadly, the placebo cocktail wasn’t any better. It was so sickly-sweet, my brother described it as “sugar water”.
My recommendation to anyone that wants to check out the Elephant Room would be to get there early (before the headliner is set to start) so you don’t have to stand in line too long. The music is definitely worth it.

I used to avoid going Austin for concerts at all cost until discovering ACL! I was there last weekend to see the Fray with my daughter and this place is amazing! The venue is easy to get in and out of. There are plenty of eating spots nearby, and there really isn’t a bad seat in this place.
I’m honestly looking forward to going back!

I went for a private event. I have been watching Austin City Limits (ACL) on PBS for so long and was excited to be at the venue.
The event was a closing party for a tech conference and they brought in a band from the UK. Even though it wasn’t an official ACL concert we got to see the whole facility and event a piece of the original stage that was like over 70 years old.

Covert Park at Mount Bonnell is an absolutely spectacular park to visit. It offers sweeping views of the Colorado river and the skyline of downtown Austin- breathtaking!. There are about 50-60 steps you have to ascend in order to reach the top. There are many trails and look out points once you reach the top. Great place to visit. Top views in all of Austin. Unbelievably beautiful homes, scenery and topography. You can see it all from here, the Colorado river, Downtown Austin to the end of the sunset.
When we went there weren’t many people on a Sunday. Thankfully, bc there isn’t a whole lot of space to walk around or to take pictures.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Lakeline offers a unique moviegoing experience centered around a full-service dining setup. The option for bottomless popcorn and the convenience of having food and drinks delivered to your seat are definite highlights. It’s a pleasant change from traditional theaters, catering to those who appreciate a bit more comfort and indulgence while enjoying a film.
While the concept is appealing, understanding their policies regarding late arrivals is crucial. A rigid adherence to rules, even in a dine-in environment where movement is inherent, might frustrate some patrons. The potential for a truly enjoyable outing relies on being aware of those guidelines, ensuring a smooth and well-considered visit for all seeking a more relaxed cinematic experience with delicious food.

My wife and I got a $50 giftcard. For two tickets, two meals, and two drinks (soda) our total was about $85. Soda is $7 EACH. Also, there is a mandatory 18% service fee. Guess they can’t afford to pay the staff enough? Even though they charge $7 for a soda and $16 for a basic burger?
We will never go back to any Alamo theatre again. Even if given a giftcard it is just not worth it.
Can’t believe it is over $15 for two sodas after fees and taxes lol.

Update: so fun to see an early screening of How to Train a Dragon. The free posters were a nice touch. I ordered frames to preserve them and showcase them per my son’s request. Epic moment for them. One issue with being double billed but we are confident the staff will fix it. I’ll update this if not.
Love that the popcorn seems air popped and the clarified butter is such a gift to someone allergic to dairy proteins. Thank you!
Previous Review: Enjoyed the ambiance of the Alamo Drafthouse. Full service with food and drinks. The bottomless popcorn is amazing with clarified butter and salt. Thank you Prince and other staff that made our evening seamless and enjoyable.

Today we had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at your theater. I have been living in this country for 15 years, and during all this time we have always encountered excellent customer service everywhere—restaurants, shops, cafeterias, and movie theaters. Unfortunately, today was completely different.
I brought my 11-year-old son to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. We have been watching the entire series, one movie each weekend, and he was so excited about this one. Unfortunately, due to unexpected car trouble, we arrived about 20 minutes late. I completely understand that this was partly our fault, and I apologized at the reception.
However, this is a dine-in theater, where throughout the entire movie people are constantly moving around—servers bringing food, guests going to the restroom, plates being cleared. Entering at 12:20 instead of 12:00, in seats located at the aisle edge, would not have disturbed anyone. I explained this, but the staff simply told me, “It’s the policy,” and refused to let us in.
As a result, we lost our tickets (which were not cheap compared to other theaters), our lunch, and most importantly, the special experience I had promised my son. We were left extremely disappointed and upset.
I kindly request a full refund for the tickets, and I hope you will reconsider how such situations are handled in the future. This kind of rigid response, without any flexibility or understanding, is not the standard of customer service we have come to expect in this country. We will not be returning, and I cannot recommend your theater to others.

This theater is great, but they’ve been omitting big releases like The Long Walk
Many times, movies that should be given priority are instead shown in South Lamar and Mueller. Might not mean much, but I pay my subscription to support many films to be on the big screen. And it’s unfortunate Lakeline has constantly not shown high profile films more than usual. May cancel if they continue removing options

Love the Alamo Draft house. My son and I watched the noon showing of The Conjuring:Last Rites @ the Lakeline location theater/screen 7 on Sept 6th. Movie was awesome btw. I chose noon because I purchased the tickets several days ahead and they had the most open seats available for purchase. We sat on row 6 which gave us a perfect view! The burgers we ordered were restaurant quality to our surprise, I was expecting ok burgers. The only thing that I found that needs improvement were the seats. They didn’t rock, recline or move in anyway. My son said that other theaters in that location had really comfortable seating. Ill be back again and hope they upgrade the seats but until then I’ll check which theater a movie is being shown in first.

Went to see demon slayer and I loved it but didn’t feel comfortable about the ladies standing outside the restroom asking people if they voted or registered to vote, which is personal in a place kids and family want to watch movies and get away from politics and just didnt feel right. Especially after what happened recently, I dont want my kids to think about that stuff.
Respectfully we came to enjoy an anime movie only
We also noticed no theme or special items
To honor the movie to put people in the mood, which made the experience less amazing, We spoke for days prior about how we couldn’t wait to see the themes of drinks/food and it was just original menu.
