Stacey is amazing! Our daughter was struggling to start eating solids for months and we were at a loss for what to do. Stacey was able to diagnose an issue that both our pediatrician and ENT overlooked, work with our ENT to resolve the issue, and then teach us exercises and skills to do at home. Our daughters ability to eat is night and day compared to where we were before Stacey. I cannot thank her enough for how much she helped our baby. If your kiddo is struggling with solids Stacey is the absolute best person to help!

We took our 6 year old there for a few months. We originally got quoted one price for the services using our insurance and then realized it had almost doubled with out them notifying us. We also had a session canceled the day off with only notice being sent to my wife’s email. They had both our emails and phone numbers to call or text, but only sent one email. They will send you several emails reminding you that if you cancel last minute, you will be charged. The therapist was pleasant. The office/billing was poorly ran.

Stacey was absolutely wonderful during our 2 years of speech therapy. Our daughter went from the 10th percentile for expressive language at 2 years old to well above average by 4 years old. Stacey was the perfect blend of warm personality and speech therapy expertise! Highly recommend her and the therapy practice as a whole!

My daughter came here for a little less than year for Speech Therapy with with Megan who was so great! We saw improvements and Megan was always so great and accommodating with schedule changes that came up! Fast forward to this year and my son was diagnosed with ADHD and we were struggling with his behavior big time. OT was recommended so I reached out to Capital Area Speech and OT since we had a positive experience. There was some back and forth with scheduliong his evaluation due to my changing health insurance and they were so patient and helped me navigate insurance craziness. We finally got him evaluated and he started working with Abbie. It's been a little over a month and we have seen HUGE improvements already!! He is doing better in school, better at home, and really able to regulate his emotions better. I am so thankful for Abbie!

I completed my occupational therapy 12 week fieldwork as an intern with Capital Area Speech and Occupational Therapy. CASOT is a very special pediatric clinic filled with compassionate and knowledgeable therapists who demonstrate the true meaning behind meaningful family-centered care! The office and billing team goes above and beyond to support both the clinicians and families to receive services. It was such a privilege to support families and their children in reaching important goals in fun, creative, and functional ways! The facility is filled with abundant resources to provide specialized therapeutic sessions and resources for each child and family. I would highly recommend this clinic for families seeking occupational and speech therapy services!

My child has been seeing Julia Tomlinson for feeding therapy since March. She has been a crucial addition to his care team, and one of his biggest advocates! My child is excited to go to therapy for each session and has made lots of progress with her over the months. Not only has she been compassionate and kind towards me and my child, but she has been effective at getting him interested in food, chewing better, and she has pointed us in the right directions for seeking out medical care (reevaluating oral ties, swallow studies, etc.) that I otherwise would not have known to seek out as a first time parent. I will be forever grateful that we chose CASOT for his therapy!
