Derek Ley, DPM

I had a great experience with Dr. Ley and would highly recommend him to anyone. He is a great communicator, both in explaining podiatry on an understandable level, and also in listening to his patients. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. It's obvious that he cares about his patients and enjoys what he does. He wasn't rushed, took his time to diagnose my issue, and gave advice and treatment that were immediately helpful.

My first visit with Dr. Ley was great! His office ran on time and my entire appointment was about 30 minutes. He did not rush me and took his time to answer all my questions (even some that may have been a bit silly). He was very personable, friendly, and made me feel comfortable discussing the issue I was having. My treatment plan was minimal, so I can’t comment on skills related to surgery, but for a minor concern he was excellent. I have already recommended him to friends & family.

I saw Dr. Ley for lingering issues with a prior ankle sprain. Dr. Ley took his time with me and listened to me. He was thorough in his exam and I was able to have the x-rays done right in his office, and we reviewed them together immediately afterwards! He was honest and thorough when explaining his findings, without being an alarmist, which I appreciated! He made me feel at ease. I find him to be very knowledgeable, respectful, honest, thorough, kind and compassionate. I am grateful to have found him and would, and already have, recommended him to others!!

What a great experience. I went to see Dr. Ley for plantar fasciitis. It was my first visit, he spent about 25 minutes with me and outlined a detailed plan. He seems very caring and cutting edge and willing to make a plan instead of just prescribing a drug or giving me a shot and sending me away. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Ley is wonderful with my mother. He is kind and patient and makes her feel seen, heard and is great in taking care of her. She looks forward to her visits with him. If we could give 10 stars we would.

I was initially a little overwhelmed by the size of the hospital, but as soon as I got to the podiatry department, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Dr. Ley was awesome! Very down to earth, thorough, and made me feel at ease throughout the appointment. He took the time to address all my questions and concerns, and everything was handled efficiently without feeling rushed. I even had X-rays done and ready within five minutes! I felt super comfortable with him and would highly recommend Dr. Ley to anyone in need of a great podiatrist.

I was totally impressed with Dr Ley. He was thorough in his exam and answered all my questions and concerns. Excellent "bedside manner". He was not "hurrying" to leave the office visit room like some doctors do. His nurse was also pleasant. If I need a podiatrist again, he will be the one I go to. Thank you Dr Ley !
