Dr. Angela Kelley is amazing, I switched from another clinic after 18 months of horrible experience and quickly felt very comfortable with this clinic, from caring staff who actually treated me like a human being to Dr. kelley understanding my medical history and recommending the best plan for me, I felt for the first time that this isn’t a money taker clinic but genuinely interested in getting me pregnant, Dr. kelley was very optimistic and she made me very comfotable. Long story short, I didn’t spend much time there because I got pregnant from the first trial and forever grateful 🙂

I booked an appointment that had an address in North Austin. I never got a confirmation email, was never communicated that I had to have the app to get any info.
I ended up going to the location I had called and they were closed. Called the main number 10 times with no answer or callback. Finally told I had to drive twice as far to another location.
Never reached out to discuss my results. Was expected to read and understand my own charts.
A second referral was put in for my wife. They lost it and I had to put in a second one over a week later for them to call me back. First time I talked to them they said no consult was needed. Now when setting the appointment they said a consult is needed.
Complete and utter lack of communication. Nothing but headaches.

The staff is non-responsive and impossible to get answers from. They were unable to provide an estimate of the cost for a consultation for me and when my boyfriend tried to schedule testing to pay out-of-pocket they told him he required a referral, and even after getting the referral completely ghosted him. When you’re about to spend $10,000 and put your body through hell you need a practice that can actually communicate effectively and unfortunately this is not that place. I assume maybe the nurses/doctors are better since this place overall has great reviews so I don’t know how they choose who they provide good care versus completely ignoring, but beware!!

Coming from another Fertility Clinic I was disheartened with the whole IVF process.
Aspire Fertility change all of this for me. This was the first time in my life I went to a clinic and actually felt comfortable. As there were certain uncertainties, the staff are quick to make things right and to make this process as easy as possible for you (they do everything for you from quick zoom appointments for clarity, calendars, financing, etc). Angela Kelly’s team is amazing and quick to answer your questions. They are knowledgeable, caring, professionals that make you feel seen instead of a number. Their portal makes communication easy, they are always looking for feedback to improve. As I may need to do another cycle of IVF due to my situation, I wished I could have come to Aspire Fertility first. I can’t say this enough, this IS THE BEST clinic to go to for fertility. Don’t make the mistake I have made going elsewhere.

Dr. Prokai is amazing. He has the best bedside manner of any doctor that I’ve ever seen. The staff at Aspire is fantastic and they respond very quickly to portal messages (usually same day). I would recommend this clinic to anyone on a fertility journey.

Stay away from this office. It is impossible to talk to ANYONE unless you are setting up a new patient appointment. They are super nice and responsive when they are getting something set up to take your money, but when they owe you money they disappear. We have been fighting since April 2025 and still nothing. I have never encountered this level of unprofessionalism at a medical practice before.

***UPDATE*** Aspire responded to my review as if I did not call them dozens of times and spent hours on hold during and after my procedure and suggested I call them. I spoke with three people about my experience: Dr. Kelley who only said “I am sorry that was your experience”. The lab director who was an empathetic ear but couldn’t do much. And someone in Tennessee called a Patient Advocate who took notes on my experience but it is unclear what they did with that information if anything. How about yall call me for once?
I froze my eggs at Aspire Fertility in February. My initial virtual consult with Dr. Kelley was a very high-level overview of the process: there would be testing, injections, check-ups, retrieval. Nothing about the details of how these would happen and cost wasn’t discussed.
At my testing appointment, the NP explained that I’d hear next steps when bloodwork came back. Two weeks passed—no word. I messaged in the app and I explained that I hoped to start treatment with my next cycle, 10 days away, which Dr. Kelley had initially said would not be an issue.
A nurse replied and said I was cleared for treatment and just needed to sign the treatment plan to get started. She failed to communicate that in order to consider the treatment plan confirmed, I needed to pay $10,000 right then.
Aspire sent my prescription for injections to a 3rd party, who submitted my order to an incorrect pharmacy. I had to spend hours on hold to get it transferred without help from Aspire. The nurse usually took at least 12 hours to get back to messages at this time, doing little to assuage fears that I would not be able to start treatment on time after paying 10k. Only thanks to my persistence and time did things arrive on time.
My first appointment was chaotic. I was taken back to a room and the medical assistant said “You know the drill.” Dr. Prokai (not my doctor) did an ultrasound, said I’d receive instructional videos about how to start injections that night, and told me to leave.
That night, I watched the instructional videos. They left out some key information, like the fact that I might have a generic version of a medication called something else with a totally different needle and process. A friend insisted on being with me at this time. After my first injection, I passed out. I didn’t have an after hours line to call nor did the instructions include any mention of what to do if something goes wrong.
I wish I’d known the level of support I needed. Friends came over during injections the first few nights. I requested to see Dr. Kelley for my second ultrasound. I told her how stressful things had been—med issues, surprise costs, poor communication. She said nurse Rachel had answered all my messages, which was true—but only after I figured out what to ask. Her response was, “I’m sorry that’s been your experience,” as if she weren’t central to it.
Treatment continued. I Googled and learned of side effects as I went —fatigue, mood swings, discomfort. Check ups were in person during work hours and had no say in scheduling. Retrieval requires a full day off. None of this was explained to me before treatment. Thankfully, my job was flexible, but Aspire never spoke to me about implications to my schedule.
To my surprise, my retrieval was done by Dr. Prokai, whom I trusted more than Dr. Kelley at this point. It was never explained that someone other than your doctor could perform the retrieval.
No one explained what happened to my eggs afterward. I had to ask. Nurse Rachel said they were “safely stored.” Then I got an email about the $1k annual storage fee.
Aspire’s communication, patient support, and transparency were horrendous. I had to advocate for myself at every step. I was lucky to have good friends, financial means, and a flexible job. I would not recommend Aspire to anyone without strong external support & time to educate and manage this themselves.

Texas Fertility – Austin Fertility Center appears to offer a range of assisted reproductive technology services. Based on available information, the center seems to have a team of medical professionals dedicated to helping individuals and couples facing fertility challenges. The focus is on providing comprehensive care, potentially including diagnostics, treatment planning, and various assisted reproductive technologies.
While the quality of care can vary, it is important to note that fertility treatments involve complex processes with emotional and financial considerations. Seeking a second opinion and thoroughly researching the success rates> and patient testimonials from multiple clinics is crucial. Furthermore, clear and consistent communication with the medical staff regarding potential risks and alternative options seems essential for a positive experience.

I was so traumatized that I needed to heal before writing this review. I think most patients who had terrible experiences with this clinic are just too traumatized to write anything, and that’s why the reviews here are skewed.
After 18 months with this clinic, a lap surgery ended up damaging one of my ovaries and cutting my fertility in half (even though it was fully functional regardless of having a cyst on it). We went through many IUI cycles and two IVF cycles that yielded very poor results, even though I still had good AMH from one ovary.
Not only that, but the doctor admitted that the surgery was the reason my second ovary wasn’t performing as well. He pushed me to do a lap without going through any of the possible risks. He performed IVF without sharing expected outcomes. They didn’t share the grades or success rates of the retrieved embryos—all of which I later learned is just common practice in other clinics.
In the first IVF cycle, the nurse gave me a different trigger shot dosage than the one the doctor told me verbally, because he failed to write it down and she failed to confirm. Luckily, I caught it because I was paying attention. Apparently, wrong dosages for critical shots are “not that important”!
The second cycle was even worse. The doctor was late to my retrieval procedure, which resulted in half the extracted eggs being extremely immature—so immature that they weren’t even fit to be cultured, according to the embryologist—and the remaining ones yielded zero. Here’s the kicker: when I complained, the doctor said, “You are blaming your poor fertility on us and should go find another clinic.”
That was actually the BEST thing he said—because I did find another clinic, where I was treated like a human being, and I got pregnant from the first cycle! And what did we figure out? While this doctor was so focused on thinking I was the problem, he completely failed to diagnose my husband. The issue that needed fixing was actually on his side!
Another important point: my friend also went to this clinic. Her doctor told her that her case was “impossible,” and after four failed IVF trials, she left them—and then got pregnant naturally!
It’s not a coincidence that both of us, with very different conditions, had poor results with this clinic and both of us got pregnant right after leaving.”
There were far too many avoidable mistakes, and the clinic showed zero accountability and zero compassion.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Vaughn and his team at TFC! From the minute my husband and I walked in to our consult with Dr. Vaughn we knew we were in the right hands. The team walked us through every part of the IVF process and was always there for any questions or concerns we had. I loved everyone in the office but loved that Aleix, one of Team Vaughn’s nurses, was always the one to call me with the good news! She was the sweetest! For anyone going through fertility struggles, the journey can be a lonely road but at TFC you are never alone. I cannot recommend them enough for anyone needing their services.

I had the WORST experience at this clinic. They treat you like cattle and herd you in and out quickly. They didn’t listen to my concerns of having endometriosis. The doctor said “OH that doesnt matter.” We did 1 very expensive IUI which would’ve cost alot less at my OBGYN and had already done 2 at my OBGYN and it didn’t work but they pushed that I try one more with them $$$. Then we moved to IVF. I felt like not alot of attention was put into my injection process. I ended up spending alot of money on drugs I didn’t even need. I ended up getting 1 good embryo from 20 eggs. Then during the transfer I was freaking out alittle and laughed at something the doctor scolded me not to laugh and seemed frustrated the entire time. She even threw something not hard but more like UGH Im over this. I watched all the staff shoot her a look bcs well your laying on a table staring at everyone. The transfer failed. Months later I decided to get the lap surgery with my OBGYN for my endo bcs I couldn’t take the pain any longer. I got pregnant twice naturally right after but unfortunately miscarried. Turns out I have a blood clotting disorder that was also missed. Im leaving this review because I wish this review was here when I was reading reviews trying to choose which fertility clinic to spend THOUSANDS of dollars at. TFC is NOT it.

After 4 retrievals and 4 transfers total over 2 years, 6 with Texas Fertility Center (TFC)/Ovation Lab and 2 at another clinic, I feel compelled to share that we cannot recommend TFC.
The tl;dr: TFC may work for some, but if you value personalized, patient-centered care, I recommend exploring alternative clinics to avoid the very costly and painful setbacks we experienced in trying to build our family there.
At TFC, my 3 retrievals yielded below-expected results for my age and AMH: just 1–2 euploid embryos per round, a 15–20% euploidy rate. Protocols never changed (always high-dose stims) despite poor outcomes. We had three transfer cycles canceled at the last minute. The final retrieval was the worst: with 10 of 15 eggs reported as “fragile with odd morphology”, empty, or degenerating. Both the doctor and the lab called it unprecedented in their experience, and when pressed for cause, said it could be due to equipment or lab error, but offered no accountability.
We got two second opinions, both of which said that my results implied overstimulation (too high a dose of GonalF/Follistim) and potential lab/equipment error. When we switched clinics, the approach was completely different: individualized protocols, integration of acupuncture and functional medicine, and ultimately a true diagnosis of our previously “unexplained” infertility. One minimal-stim cycle resulted in a 66% euploidy rate, and our first transfer was successful. Night and day difference in care and outcomes and I wish we had started there.

Texas Fertility is an amazing clinic with wonderful, talented doctors and support staff! From day one, Dr. Silverberg gave us hope and a plan- both of which we were in desperate need of! With the help of him, his nurses, and the other doctors on the TFC team, we had two successful pregnancies that brought us our 3 miracle babies! With their knowledge and expertise, our years of loss of disappointment faded and our perfect little family blossomed! I recommend Texas Fertility to any and everyone dealing with fertility struggles- you will be in great hands!

After 5 long years of trying to conceive, we are beyond grateful to finally be holding our precious baby girl, thanks to the incredible team at Texas Fertility Center. From our very first visit, we felt seen, heard, and supported every step of the way. The doctors, nurses, and staff were not only highly knowledgeable but also compassionate and genuinely invested in our journey.
Dr Gavrizi guided us with clear communication, thorough care, and unwavering encouragement, even during the hardest moments. We never felt like just a number, this team truly cares.
Thanks to TFC, our dream of becoming parents has finally come true. We’ll never be able to thank them enough for the gift of our daughter. If you’re struggling and considering fertility care, we cannot recommend Texas Fertility Center enough. They gave us hope, and now, a family.

Dr. Prokai is a doctor I felt I could trust right away. He was honest and transparent every step of the way. IVF can be a very stressful and emotional journey so his compassion and attentiveness made all the difference during the process. It was clear that he was always focused on the best possible outcome for our family building goals. I absolutely credit my success with IVF to his sharp medical judgment and his passion for what he does. Whether it was phone calls or messages in the portal his supporting medical team was also very responsive which made the process a lot smoother. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Prokai enough.

I saw Dr. Prokai for a second opinion on a fertility assessment. He was head and shoulders better than the first doctor I saw. He did not shame me for not trying to get pregnant right away before my wedding. He was understanding of my situation and seemed like he really wanted to help me freeze embryos prior to my wedding. The first doctor was too conservative in her approach and threw in the towel right away. Dr. Prokai truly seems to be on our side and wants to give us a fighting chance to have a family.

Dr. Prokai was amazing. He was thorough in his explanation of the process. Even with the medical experience my husband and I have, he still made sure we were educated and what to expect. The process is lengthy and takes a lot of patience. But in one sitting, we were able to do urinalysis, blood work for both of us and then a sonogram for myself. He said that what he saw was good so far. So now we wait on other labs and see if we’ll have luck pursuing the next step to our journey.

We highly recommend Dr. Moghadam and the Austin Fertility Institute. After several years of trying to conceive and working with multiple doctors and clinics without success, our endocrinologist referred us to Dr. Moghadam, and it made all the difference.
From the very beginning, Dr. Moghadam stood out as the most straightforward, knowledgeable, and informative doctor we had met. He provided expert care with honesty and clarity, and his entire team created an environment that was both highly professional and sincerely supportive. Thanks to Dr. Moghadam and his staff, our first round of IVF was successful, and in 2022, we welcomed a beautiful and healthy baby girl into our lives. Two years later, when we decided to grow our family, we returned to the Austin Fertility Institute, and after another successful transfer, we welcomed a little sister in 2025.
What we appreciated most was how genuinely personalized the care felt. Dr. Moghadam always took the time to answer every question, explain each step in detail, and ensure we felt confident and supported throughout the journey. The entire crew was responsive, attentive, and compassionate, making us feel like we were in the best possible hands.
We are forever grateful to Dr. Moghadam and the Austin Fertility Institute for helping us achieve our dream of building a family. If you are searching for a fertility specialist who combines world-class expertise with genuine care, look no further than Dr. Moghadam.

My wife and I had a really positive experience with Dr. Moghadam and the team at Austin Fertility Institute. We chose to pursue reciprocal IVF, and from the beginning, Dr. Moghadam was respectful and knowledgeable about our path to parenthood.
I had a long history of extremely painful periods, and Dr. Moghadam was the first doctor to correctly diagnose me with endometriosis. He referred me to an excellent surgeon for a myomectomy, which helped lay the groundwork for a successful transfer.
After healing, we had a healthy baby following our first embryo transfer. When we decided to grow our family, we returned to Austin Fertility Institute and are now expecting our second baby in November after another successful transfer.
The care we received felt genuinely personalized. Dr. Moghadam always took the time to answer our questions and walk us through each step of the process. While wait times can sometimes be long at times, it’s because he gives each patient the time and attention they need—and we really appreciated that.
His staff was also incredibly kind and accommodating. They were especially understanding of my fear of needles and helped me build a routine that made blood draws much more manageable.
Fertility treatment can be overwhelming, but having a team that treated us with respect, compassion, and care made all the difference. We’re grateful to Austin Fertility Institute for helping us build our family.

Highly recommend AFI and Dr. M! After years of trying to conceive with several different doctors and clinics (mostly due to us moving cities) and trying varying levels of treatments with no success, we found Dr. M to be the most straightforward and informative doctor we saw. He was able to explain new things that other doctors hadn’t, was upfront about IVF being the right option for us without being pushy, and explained why the other treatments we’d had didn’t work. Dr. M and his amazing staff were professional, responsive, and supportive throughout the entire process. We were lucky to have success on our first round of IVF and just celebrated our baby’s first birthday. The AFI team is great and we will definitely return when we’re ready to add to our family.

I have waited over one year to reflect on the care I received. Pros: Dr. M is knowledgeable, and communicates procedures and treatment plans well. You may need to be familiar with medical jargon to follow the conversations and treatments plans. The staff is also very well trained and knowledgeable. Cons: the bedside manner was traumatizing to the extent that wanted me to feel small. That wasn’t a side effect—it was the goal. And the worst part? Watching me struggle seemed to make him feel powerful.

He is the only specialist in his practice, so I didn’t feel as though I had a long interim of appointments prior to seeing the doctor. However, understand that will typically come with a decent wait time and a commitment to appointments- depending on your job you may need to get that sorted first.
He helped us find our solution to becoming parents and we have a little one due this summer . We plan to see him again for our second if we are still in the area!

I had the best experience w AFI! Graduated once again from Dr Ms w my second baby & I will forever be grateful for being able to grow our family!
After doing 2 rounds of IVF at a different clinic in town and only having a 1/3 success rate w transfer I wasn’t sure if I would ever get my chaotic loud family that I dreamed of. I got MUCH better results w AFI on all levels: lower levels of hormones used, higher follicle and embryo yield and 2/2 transfer success rate! Cannot say enough good things about Dr M and his entire staff.

Customer Reviews
Please avoid this place at all costs! The customer service here is absolutely terrible. If you are pregnant and experiencing any issues, do not count on them to answer the phone. The hold time is consistently 30 to 45 minutes.
I had a painful episode and thought I was going into labor at 22 weeks. I called the office and was on hold for 45 minutes before deciding to just walk in. When I arrived, I had to wait another 30 minutes to be seen.
On another occasion, I had a routine checkup and waited in the waiting area for almost an hour. When I was finally seen, the doctor spent no more than 5-10 minutes with me. I had arrived at 3:45 PM and wasn’t finished until 5 PM. When I went to schedule a follow-up appointment-crucial during pregnancy the front desk had already shut everything down. The staff member told me l’d have to call back the following week because she wanted to go home and had already shut off her computer. When I explained that I had waited a long time, she simply said, “Well, that’s not my fault. My PC is already off.”
I called again the following Monday to make an appointment and was on hold for over 30 minutes.
I’ve since decided to change providers to a practice that actually cares about its patients-but even that has turned into a nightmare. The new office requested my medical records (since I’m well into my pregnancy), but ARC has yet to send them. That request was made over 12 days ago. I’ve called ARC several times, and they claim they haven’t received any request.
Out of desperation, I went in person and had the front desk fax my request directly to their medical records office. That was on Monday. Today is Thursday, and when I called to follow up, I was told again, “We haven’t received anything.” This is despite the fact that their own front desk faxed it. The staff gave me an email address to try instead.
This entire experience has been a nightmare. I’m incredibly stressed out. If I go into premature labor, I will hold ARC responsible. At this point I am still waiting to get my medical records from this place. The medical record person I talked to this morning stated that it will take them up to 14 days to process once my request and that’s IF they receive it.
Do not respond to this review with a generic apology. Unless you are going to actually help and resolve these issues, please don’t insult patients further with canned responses.

While the doctors here are wonderful, no one ever answers the nurse line and it doesn’t give the option to leave a message anymore. I always have to wait on hold for more than 30 minutes no matter what time I call before giving up and hanging up. They really need to do a better job at answering the phones more promptly so that current patients can get the information or direction they need, or give the option for patients to leave a message so they can receive a call back instead of waiting on hold all day.

I cannot brag on this practice and these doctors enough. Dr. Ghosh in specific listened and cared for me with the utmost respect; which ultimately helped me have a successful VBAC. Driving an hour to every appointment was well worth it to me!

Although they were busy they still excelled at their job. They showed compassion and care and made sure I was informed of how busy they were. When my doctor was ready for me she didn’t breeze through too fast and made sure I was comfortable before starting the procedures.

Dr. Leah Tatum is incompetent. As so many other OBGYNs, she is more of an actress than a doctor because she follows the same script of “take birth control or try an IUD or just maybe your periods are naturally intense and all you can do is take pain meds when it comes on.” Last year, I went in for a hysterectomy consult with Dr. Tatum. She mentioned that my ultrasound was clear and that she found nothing. She told me that I had no endometriosis and she saw no fibroids and she kept trying to persuade me to get an IUD and refused to do a diagnostic surgery. When I told her that my lung collapses each time I had a period, she told me that I didn’t have endo and that even if I had extra-pelvic endo that extra-pelvic endo is NOT affected by menstruation. 5 others surgeons that I saw after seeing Dr. Tatum all said that what she said was BS and she should know better because that is similar to a board exam question. Which makes me wonder if Dr. Leah Tatum is even board certified. Because of Dr. Tatum and her incompetence I went through another year of having lung collapses with my periods until I was finally diagnosed by a general surgeon and cared for by a knowledgeable competent OBGYN. Dr. Leah Tatum needs to know that a clear ultrasound does NOT mean endo and fibroids are not present. And it should be common sense that throwing up and passing out and having shortness of breath during every period cannot be cured with birth control and an IUD. The OBGYN that I currently see found endometriosis, adenomysis, AND fibroids (yes, multiple fibroids). Why couldn’t Dr. Leah Tatum be competent, caring, and knowledgeable enough to know that my period symptoms are not normal nor natural and actually warranted a diagnostic surgery??? Please avoid this incompetent doctor and go to Hill Country OBGYN to get the care you need from knowledgeable experienced doctors. My OBGYN is now Dr. Eduardo, she is the best!!! Please avoid Dr. Tatum or go to her at your own risk!

I got small procedure done and my body reacted horribly to it and I was in a lot of pain. The NP I was seeing was amazing along with the MA’s. As a black women we tend to have our pain invalidated in healthcare but the team was amazing in making sure my pain subsided and they kept me comfortable. They listened when I needed something and did not leave my side. Amazing care

I am extremely grateful for my experience with Dr. Crawford and the incredibly caring team at Fora Fertility. My road was far from smooth or a straight path. While I believe there are ups and downs with any fertility experience due to the nature of this journey, it is evident that this team cares very deeply for their patients. They were always receptive to my questioning and desire to really understand along the way. I felt very well taken care of with each and every surgery and procedure. I knew my options which allowed me to make informed decisions each step of the way. No one wants to experience infertility. But this team made my almost 2 years with them an overall very positive experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Words cannot truly express the depth of gratitude my family and I feel for the Fora team. From the moment I walked through their doors, I felt supported and genuinely cared for. This clinic is truly a place where everyone knows your name and is wholeheartedly dedicated to helping you achieve your dreams of creating a family.
As someone who works full time, the ability to have early morning appointments that were always on time, quick and efficiently run was invaluable. The entire team was mindful of my busy schedule, never causing unnecessary delays. Their communication through the patient portal was seamless and responsive, making me feel reassured every step of the way. Even when I encountered pharmacy issues after hours, Fora came to the rescue—proof of their dedication.
Rikki was our angel—an absolute godsend!!! Her unwavering support, expertise, and guidance made this journey possible. She always made me feel seen, heard, and empowered. Her encouragement meant the world to me and my husband. From teaching us how to easily & confidently do the shots, to answering our panicked midnight calls- we can’t imagine navigating this process without her by our side.
With the incredible team of Dr. Skillern and Dr. Crawford, you get the benefit of two brilliant minds working together. Dr. Skillern was my primary doctor and her extensive experience, precision, and commitment to getting me pregnant made all the difference. She greets you with positivity at every appointment and does not rush you through the process. She consistently checks all of your levels to ensure they are exactly where they needed to be for a successful transfer. Her care was always informed, compassionate, and meticulous, giving me complete confidence in my fertility plan.
My first transfer was a complete success, and we welcomed our sweet baby girl last month and we owe it all to the Fora team.
After hearing about friends’ experiences at other IVF facilities, I feel so blessed to have chosen this clinic—there’s truly no comparison. I cannot recommend them enough, know that you are in the most capable and compassionate hands here. Fora made our dream of becoming parents a reality, and we are forever grateful. THANK YOU to Dr. Skillern, Dr. Crawford, Rikki, Savannah, Ruth, Jen, Hank, Karlie, Hannah, Mel, Lindsey, and Kayla!!! Our champions in blue.

Dr Crawford and her team has helped us grow our family twice now. Her team is wonderful and very communicative. The experience is individualized and meets all expectations. The financial process was transparent. Our initial consultation was very informative. Dr Crawford met us where we were in our infertility journey, explored our goals and helped guide us toward the best choice for me and my partner to attempt to have another child. I am so grateful and recommend her clinic and services very highly.

Today I graduated from the fertility clinic to my OBGYN! The entire staff was so patient and knowledgeable every step of the way. From the moment my husband and I met Dr. Crawford and we told her our goals, she was direct with the process. Nurse Hannah and other staff started to feel like family. I cant wait to send pictures of our little miracle baby. I am thankful for the staff at Fora and thankful to them for giving me a life changing experience.

My husband and I have been TTC for 2 years, and unfortunately my experience with this clinic was disappointing and stressful.
I was first scheduled for a short virtual consult that lasted about 10 minutes. The doctor showed slides with statistics about conception by age and essentially told us we were young and healthy and should have no trouble conceiving. This cost a specialist copay up front, which felt impersonal and unhelpful.
Next, I was scheduled for a FemVue and ultrasound, which required $500 upfront. During the procedure, the doctor briefly commented that it looked like I had a “heart-shaped uterus or a septum,” and then left the room without explaining what that meant. If you’ve ever Googled those terms, you know how frightening they sound. This caused a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety for me, especially since I wasn’t given any explanation or reassurance.
We also paid $200 for my husband’s labs and never received any results — not even a follow-up call.
When my insurance lapsed, the clinic wanted another $300 for a short follow-up virtual consult just to discuss results. At that point I started to feel like their priority was billing, not patient care.
Once I had new coverage, I got a second opinion at another clinic (which was actually in-network). The difference was night and day. The new doctor spent 30 minutes with us in person, went through our TTC history and health in detail, and outlined a clear plan. She ordered an HSG (not FemVue), explained why, and later confirmed via ultrasound that my uterus is completely normal with no septum or abnormal shape. She even mentioned that FemVue is often billed as an office procedure because it reimburses better, but it doesn’t actually give much useful diagnostic information.
Looking back, I feel misled and frustrated with how the first clinic handled my care. I want to warn others to be cautious—especially if you feel like you’re being pushed into expensive procedures without clear explanations or next steps. Fertility treatment is already an emotional journey, and patients deserve thorough communication and ethical care.

My experience with Fora was absolutely amazing. I had been to 2 different doctors before seeing Dr. Crawford and immediately from the initial evaluation I knew this is where I needed to be. She listened to everything I had to say and asked me questions no other doctor had asked. She finally gave me a diagnosis and had a clear cut plan to move forward. Hannah was my cycle coordinator and she was incredible! She answered all my questions and always responded to my messages very quickly! Rikki was at a lot of my cycle check ups and drew my blood several times and she was always a joy to be around as she was always had a fun and happy attitude. Dr. Skillern was my doctor for several of my visits and she was also so amazing and very kind! ALL of the staff made my experience here very positive and I’m grateful for all of the work they do!

Fora Fertility Saved Us. We began our IVF journey in Dallas, and after our second egg retrieval, we were told that a gestational carrier was our only option due to lining issues. After consulting with many doctors, we decided to meet with Dr. Crawford. We had learned about her early on through her fertility masterclass, but because her clinic was in Austin, we never thought of her as an option. Three years after that masterclass, when we had nearly lost hope and longed for a doctor who would truly believe in us, we scheduled a consultation. From the very first moment we met Dr. Crawford she treated us like humans, not just a number. Moreover, she had reviewed three years worth of notes, exams and labs ahead of meeting with us, so she could bring an informed set of questions to our discussion. Unlike others, she did not believe a gestational carrier was our next step. Instead, she immediately created a plan to get us to a transfer.
After a minor procedure and a more natural approach to an FET, we transferred one of our embryos, and it stuck. I am now 12 weeks pregnant!!
Words cannot capture the compassion and flexibility the team showed us, especially since we were traveling from several hours away. Dr. Crawford, her nurse Hannah, and the wonderful staff, including Rikki and Melissa, have left a lasting impact on our lives.
If you are searching for a clinic that will truly partner with you on this journey, we cannot recommend Fora Fertility enough.

I have had a great experience with the Center and the Clinic. They are extremely helpful, compassionate, loving, supportive, and most of all good people helping others. Everyone is so dedicated to make sure you don’t feel out of place no mater what brought you to them. The entire team was always there when needed. It’s truly a “Life Center” because they make you feel alive and encourage you to make the best decisions about your health. They empower you with knowledge because no one knows you better than you. I never met a group of professionals so invested in natural procedures and finding the root of causes. I have been waiting weeks for my appointment and they emailed me yesterday the day before my appointment to confirm and gave me 4 and a half hours to see it and confirm or they would cancel my appointment. I got off of work for this, I have been looking forward to receiving the help we talked about and now they want to just cancel on me the day before without adequate time to respond. I am heartbroken as I do not even have a vehicle to get down there taking the bus from south Austin or uber there is time and money and for what? Will they just turn me away? I am so so so very saddened that a place with good reviews who seemed so helpful before would let down a first time pregnant woman seeking help causing me so much stress this morning. My appointment is for 10 am and they don’t even open until 9. So what? Am I screwed? Does anyone else know where I can get some real help with a free sonogram?

My wife went to this clinic when she was experiencing a crisis pregnancy at the age of 17. She talks about the staff being so loving and friendly to her. She was able to have a sonogram done and get some counseling from one of the staff members- she chose life and decided to place her son for adoption. She has a wonderful relationship with him and his family. I am really thankful for the support that she got during that difficult time. St John Paul II Life Center is truly doing Gods work! Blessings

I’ve been a patient at the clinic for 4 years. Dr. K attended the delivery of my last 2 babies. He had great bedside manners especially when I had complications after the delivery. They have 2 board certified physicians and provide pre-natal and well-woman checks. They don’t prescribe contraception but they provide classes for fertility awareness methods that are more effective than the pill and do not have dangerous side effects. The classes they offer go all the way from child-birth classes to financial lessons so you can care for your family.

As REAL of a clinic as they come. REAL DOCTORS truly invested in the health of women. Those claiming this is a fake clinic have obviously not been a patient here, toured the facilities, or truly care about their long-term reproductive care. I have been a patient of this clinic for many years and I love the care I receive here. The doctors don’t push procedures on me as others have in the past. They listen to my concerns and show compassion. The doctors here have helped me tremendously and I highly recommend this clinic dedicated to TRUE WOMEN’S HEALTHCARE.

I had heard such wonderful things about the JPII Clinic over the years. I found myself pregnant, in need, and did not hear a response to my multiple emails and calls March – May 2020, about pregnancy resources and classes. I was immensely disappointed because I had been supportive of their work prior to needing assistance and resources. I did receive wonderful care and attention from the Vitae Clinic.

I had such a great experience with Kindbody Austin and Kindbody LA. I started my journey in LA with an egg retrieval cycle 6 years ago. Last year we moved to Austin and started our IVF cycle. Dr. D (who is not there anymore) was so great and all the nurses + team were helpful and knowledgeable. We successfully got pregnant on the first try and I delivered my baby girl in March. We will return in a year and half to try for our second baby.

After 4 years of miscarriages we went to kindbody Austin. The whole team were attentive, positive and gave us the best care. They explained the whole process in detail. They were extremely quick to reply to any questions I had. Our initial visit was in December 2023 after testing we had our egg retrieval in March 2024 and I was pregnant by August 2024. We celebrated the arrival of our daughter in April 2025. Without Kindbody we wouldn’t have had our perfect little one. If we decide to try and have another we definitely go back to see them again. Thank you kindbody for giving us our daughter ❤️.

Horrible experience. Do not go here for fertility treatment. I wish I could give negative stars.
KindBody refused to provide services and openly discriminated against my Black husband, after initially promising fertility treatment for both of us during intake. I received only initial services but terminated services after their maltreatment of my husband. Then they billed us without going through our insurance (BCBS PPO), even though they said all services would be covered by our insurance. We challenged the charge and demanded they go through our insurance only to not hear anything for over a year and half. We tried following up with them and they refused to communicate. Now we received a notification from a debt collector about an outstanding bill from KindBody without any communication from KindBody since June 2024.

Kindbody has been Kind to me! Seriously by the grace of god my husband and I were able to find out his employer which omg a blessing in itself when I had my virtual appointment with Dr. Mehta went so well I felt heard in every aspect. I felt comfortable speaking with her about recent experiences with Doctors offices.
This journey has been so beautiful and stressful at the same time having the staff to talk to with my feelings and questions because I wasn’t able to really express to them the gratitude that I felt/feel! Huge shoutout to Morgan, Meghan, Alex, and Caitlyn. Omg huge support system. Even taking the time to answer my questions when they are not on the clock! So good! Also Alycia with Scheduling just the whole entire team! I felt taken care of and thought of everyone I walked in . Especially driving from San Antonio to Austin. Great experience for 20 week anatomy scan today. Our tech Tina was super sweet and explained everything to us while she was scanning each area. Loved her enthusiasm! Thanks for the amazing experience. You are not allowed to record or take photos but better yet, they email you recordings and photos to you after the session! They also take a 3d photo which was a pleasant surprise. Thank you so much!

Love this place. They do such a great job at explaining what’s going on for that day. They are all very sweet and nice. They take their time on making sure everything looks good on the ultrasounds. The picture quality for the 3D ultrasounds are amazing. I never been to any other location. Great experience. Front desk staff super friendly. The technician was also very friendly and cheerful. We got in and out in 40 min. waited about 10 min and then had a 30 min ultrasound for our 20 week checkup. There was a chair for my husband and a huge screen to see the 2D and 3D ultrasound.
I would recommend trying to take the earlier slot if possible for times sake (8:00am was our slot – we got there at 7:45 and no one was there. We got into the waiting room by 7:50 and were seen by 7:55.)
Parking is validated at end of appointment (one ticket per couple) but it makes it easy and smooth.

My partner and I were referred to this office by my OB for the big 20 wk ultrasound. It was a really great experience. Everyone was very friendly and easy to speak to. I completed the required new patient forms online prior to my appointment but their system was down and they couldn’t pull it up so I had to fill it all out in the office. The woman at the front desk was pretty apologetic about it and it’s not the worst thing to have to deal with. I could tell the Dr. had done her research on me. She asked questions related to my medical history which was impressive. I’m not sure if that says a lot about me having poor expectations or a lot about the Dr. not just making us another face. Either way, I am grateful for the experience.

Came here twice for my 12 week NT check and 20 week anatomy scan. Superb experience each time! Waited under 5 minutes to be seen and front staff were helpful and friendly. Had different techs and doctors each time and both times they were all super friendly, through, and positive. They took their time, explained everything they were checking and seeing and made me feel very comfortable and reassured. I’m almost sad I have to reason to go back to them. Amazing professionals, highly recommend this office!

Ovulation Tracking and Cycle Monitoring
Many fertility clinics begin with ovulation tracking and cycle monitoring. This involves carefully assessing a woman’s menstrual cycle to identify ovulation patterns, often utilizing techniques such as basal body temperature charting, ovulation predictor kits, and ultrasound imaging.
Fertility Testing and Diagnostic Evaluation
Fertility testing and diagnostic evaluation form a crucial first step in identifying underlying causes of infertility. Clinics offer a range of tests for both male and female partners, including hormone level assessments, semen analysis, and imaging studies of the reproductive organs.
Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)
Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) is a relatively simple procedure where sperm is directly placed into the uterus around the time of ovulation. This technique can improve the chances of conception for couples experiencing mild male factor infertility or unexplained infertility.
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is a more advanced assisted reproductive technology. It involves retrieving eggs from the ovaries, fertilizing them with sperm in a laboratory setting, and then transferring the resulting embryos into the uterus.
Egg Freezing (Oocyte Cryopreservation)
Egg freezing (oocyte cryopreservation) offers women the option to preserve their fertility for future use. This procedure is often chosen by women who are delaying childbearing or undergoing medical treatments that may affect their reproductive function.
Donor Egg and Sperm Services
For individuals or couples who require assistance with egg or sperm, fertility clinics offer donor egg and sperm services. These programs involve careful screening and matching to ensure genetic compatibility and minimize risks.
Gestational Carrier (Surrogacy) Programs
Individuals or couples who are unable to carry a pregnancy may benefit from gestational carrier (surrogacy) programs. Clinics facilitate connections with gestational carriers and provide comprehensive support throughout the surrogacy journey, addressing legal and medical aspects.
Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT)
Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT), previously known as PGS or PGD, enables the screening of embryos for genetic abnormalities prior to transfer. This procedure can help identify viable embryos and reduce the risk of miscarriage or the birth of a child with a genetic condition.
Frequently Asked Questions about Fertility Clinics in Austin
What services do fertility clinics typically offer?
Fertility clinics generally provide a range of services, including diagnostic evaluations for both male and female partners, ovarian stimulation treatments, intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), egg freezing, genetic testing, and third-party reproduction options like egg or sperm donation, and gestational surrogacy. The specific services offered can vary between clinics.
How do I choose a fertility clinic in Austin?
Selecting a fertility clinic requires careful consideration. Look for clinics with experienced reproductive endocrinologists, a high success rate for patients with similar diagnoses, a supportive and compassionate staff, and transparent pricing. It’s also important to consider the clinic’s accreditation and technology.
What is the difference between IUI and IVF?
Intrauterine insemination (IUI) involves placing sperm directly into the uterus around the time of ovulation. It’s a less invasive and less expensive option. In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a more complex procedure where eggs are retrieved from the ovaries, fertilized with sperm in a laboratory, and then transferred to the uterus. IVF is often used for more complex fertility issues.
What does the initial consultation usually involve?
The initial consultation will typically involve a detailed medical history review for both partners. Expect a discussion about previous fertility treatments, physical examinations, and likely diagnostic testing, such as a hormone panel for the female partner and a semen analysis for the male partner. It’s also an opportunity to ask questions and discuss treatment options.
How much does fertility treatment typically cost in Austin?
The cost of fertility treatment varies widely. IUI can range from $700 to $3,000 per cycle, while a full IVF cycle, including medications, can cost between $10,000 and $20,000 or more. These costs do not include potential additional procedures or medications.
What is egg freezing, and who is it for?
Egg freezing, or oocyte cryopreservation, involves retrieving eggs and freezing them for future use. It's often considered by women who want to preserve their fertility due to age, medical reasons, or career aspirations. Freezing eggs is a significant financial commitment, so it's important to understand the process and associated costs.
What factors influence a clinic’s success rates?
Several factors contribute to a clinic’s success rates, including the experience of the medical team, the quality of the laboratory, the technology used, the patient population, and the clinic’s protocols. Clinics often publish their success rates, but it’s essential to understand how these rates are calculated and compare them carefully.
What is the role of a reproductive endocrinologist?
A reproductive endocrinologist is a medical doctor specializing in infertility and reproductive health. They diagnose and treat fertility problems, oversee fertility treatments, and provide counseling to patients. It’s crucial to have an experienced and board-certified reproductive endocrinologist managing your care.
What are some common causes of infertility?
Common causes of infertility in women include ovarian dysfunction, fallopian tube blockage, and endometriosis. In men, infertility can be caused by low sperm count, poor sperm motility, and varicocele. Sometimes, the cause of infertility remains unexplained.
What financial assistance options are available for fertility treatments?
Several financial assistance options may be available, including insurance coverage (which varies significantly), grants from fertility-focused organizations, loans, and payment plans offered by the clinic. Research and explore these possibilities to ease the financial burden of fertility treatment.
