We went with Complete Events for our wedding DJ and uplighting services. Sean and his team at Complete were incredibly helpful in guiding us through the available packages and ensuring we chose the right fit for our needs.
Our DJ, Dominic, did a fantastic job during the reception. His music choices and announcements were on point and he was very accommodating with our last-minute changes and requests. He was also a pleasure to work with while planning out the timeline and program.
Unfortunately, the PA system we were supposed to have for our ceremony never happened. Our DJ was unreachable by our coordinator, and no one arrived to set up the PA system. We later learned this was due to a series of unforeseen and unfortunate events and that Complete and Dominic tried to do the best they could. While we appreciate that sometimes things go wrong, it was extremely stressful in the moment, especially with so much else going on.
We ultimately managed the ceremony without a PA system, but it was a significant hiccup, and we did not have mics for the ceremony. Overall, we would still recommend DJ Dominic and Complete based on the follow up we had assuming that this was a one off incident that hopefully will not happen again.

Hannah was an AMAZING DJ! Our reception was 6 hours, and she knew exactly what to play to keep the dance floor going all night long. She made sure all of our requests were met. We had a drunk friend trying to steal the mic from her, and she handled it so well, all on her own. She was also a great MC for our games. When she had to tell people what to do or where to go, she made it funny, which made the requests less demanding. Complete Weddings & Events was great at communicating. Their online questionnaire had all the right questions, making it easy to keep all our requests in one place. They offer so many fun games, and we chose 3 and all were great. We highly recommend Complete Weddings & Events, especially Hannah!

Absolutely fantastic DJ services and lighting services. Hannah was INCREDIBLE. She was so attentive and ensured everything ran smoothly. She was excellent at creating a playlist that was unique to us and added in our Congolese songs with western songs and even included our more obscure alternative music in a way everyone could enjoy! She was a great MC and announced everything so well. She even handled a curveball when a request was made for an additional dance and did it so wonderfully! She and complete weddings made our event go so smooth! She did an excellent job blending in songs during the ceremony. Sean was also extremely helpful prior to our wedding with answering all my questions and helping me get everything sorted. Wonderful!

ANA is the BEST!! Amanda was a dream to work with leading up to our wedding and the whole team was incredible on the day of (including Mallorie who jumped in as our 2nd lead planner). Not only did my husband and I notice, but we had GUESTS complimenting us on our planners. Saying how on top of it they were but never rude or pushy. Lighthearted but always one step ahead of every variable.

It rained and rained all morning and they had backup plans for everything. In the afternoon, it turned into a beautiful day but I had full confidence that the team would have been able to make the absolute best of the situation had things turned out otherwise.

ANAs resources are really unmatched with an entire inventory of rentals, very well priced photo booth etc. And they created my dream seating chart in a snap.

I don’t know how people throw themselves a wedding without a planner. ZERO regrets about paying for a team behind you. If you are in doubt, you can book ANA with confidence.

From the very start our planner Rosa at AWP worked very hard. She had tons of awesome vendor recommendations and really got the ball rolling for everything. She was always available for my countless questions and had so much experience to offer. At no point did we ever feel like this was just a job to her, she really, deeply cared about us and making sure we were happy. She was able to notice whenever I got stressed and she’d offer advice and handle anything that would come up. We wouldn’t of had a wedding if it weren’t for all her hard work. She managed all of the vendors, communicated with everyone and planned out a very detailed timeline and schematics. From the get go Rosa was incredibly invested in us as a couple and wanted to not only help us plan a wonderful wedding but also make an honest connection so that the planning process was as fun and painless as possible. We got extra help from her on choosing our vendors and details for our caterer and florist; we can’t imagine going through those processes without her. On the day, our wedding was coordinated by Richard (her husband and great business partner to her) and Deidre from her team with regular check-ins from Rosa. They all did such a fantastic job. We didn’t have to lift a finger (and even when I instinctually tried to, Deidre very kindly and gently reminded me that I should relax and enjoy it all). Being able to soak in your wedding day without a worry is priceless, and they helped us achieve that.

This is another event center that’s a hidden gem in Austin. Our district hosted our 25th Manor Education Foundation gala here. It was great. We had to do the set up and take down, so make sure you have a crew for both. There’s space for an outside reception. This would be a great all in one place for a wedding! The bar area is phenomenal. It’s quaint and very cute.

The venue is bright, well-lit, and well equipped. Parking is convenient, and the community manager who answers the main phone line, is outstanding: professional, accommodating, and by far the most helpful person I dealt with.

Unfortunately, the management and operations make the experience frustrating. Communication is excellent before booking, but after payment, the tone shifts to constant nickel-and-diming. A $500/$600 per hour (if rented hourly) is charged even when only one staff member is on-site, doing little more than being present. The drinks package, presented as mandatory, offered low-quality options by default, and getting better selections approved became unnecessarily difficult. Requests for bar supply details were met with incomplete information and a dismissive attitude.

The event director/partner is essentially unreachable, despite having a listed phone number. On one occasion, after staff connected me to her, I overheard saying she didn’t want to speak with me (she did not know she was on speaker phone). This after I had spent $7,000 on the venue. Staff have openly said that management prioritizes revenue over guest experience due to financial struggles and potential closure.

The space itself was not properly cleaned before my event. Plants were dying, trash was outside (which I had to pick up myself), and overall upkeep felt neglected. The initial walk-through was warm and welcoming, but that hospitality disappeared once the contract was signed.

In short: beautiful venue, poor management practices, rude & disrespectful leadership. I’d consider recommending or returning ONLY if there were a change in leadership and a genuine focus on customer experience and overall upkeep.

OBSESSED!!!! We had the wedding of our dreams at Gather Venue Lamar. The venue is gorgeous, open and perfect! Gather had great communication, was very helpful and overall great to work with! We used Gather Staff as our day of staffing. They were kind, energetic and efficient. We had over 200 guests and no lines at the bar! We had a small flip between ceremony and reception and they got it done in under 20 minutes!
We also used Ashley as our month of coordinator. We could not speak more highly of Ashley! She was invested, organized, resourceful and an overall rockstar! She handled EVERYTHING the day of so that we could just show up and have an amazing day! She was able to direct the rehearsal as well as the flow of the event with ease. Having her to help with vendor communication took a giant weight off our shoulders. Ashley was not only professional, but kind and enjoyable to be around!

We would not change a thing if we did it all again!

With multiple vendors, a large bridal party, and last minute things happening this venue went above and beyond for our special day. The decorations and furniture already present helped set a wonderful mood with minimal additional decorations on our end. Photographer here! I recently worked with Eclipse Event Co for Danielle and Grant’s wedding at Camp Lucy and wow, what an incredible team. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, and the entire day ran like a dream thanks to their calm, communicative approach.

From timeline flow to reception setup, Eclipse had everything dialed in. The ceremony at the Arch Overlook was absolutely breathtaking, and the reception inside was transformed into such an elegant, candlelit space, lush greenery, soft lighting, and that signature Camp Lucy magic.

As a photographer, I especially appreciated how on top of things they were without ever feeling rushed or chaotic. They created space for real moments to unfold, which makes all the difference when telling a couple’s story.

We LOVE Stacy! I found Eclipse Events through the Knot/Instagram and reached out shortly after my engagement. I had interviewed several planners and felt like Stacy and I just clicked. We had already booked our venue by the time we hired Stacy but really had nothing else planned. I sent Stacy my Pinterest board and told her about some of my ideas for the big day, and she got to work immediately creating a mood board and reaching out to vendors. She had great vendor recommendations across the board and since we got married in Boerne, offered options from Austin and San Antonio. She was a large part of the planning process, but her biggest contribution was the weekend of the wedding. She was with us from the rehearsal dinner the night before all the way through our grand exit. We had a lot of moving parts that weekend and she made sure everything ran smoothly. She was able to make quick adjustments to some last-minute changes I threw at her and I’m sure handled plenty of little hiccups that she made sure I never heard about. The owner went above and beyond by suggesting venues for us to explore *before* we even signed a contract, and I truly appreciated that personal touch. But now, let me get to the real star of the show: Art Fuentes. This review is basically a love letter to him, because I honestly can’t imagine our wedding without him.

Art was *everything*. I never once felt the stress or chaos that usually comes with wedding planning, and that’s entirely thanks to him. We truly cannot say enough about how incredible Cheryl and the Glitzzy Events team were in making our dream wedding a reality. From the very beginning, Cheryl felt more like a trusted advisor and family member than just a planner — someone who cared deeply about the outcome, the experience, and our ability to be present for the most meaningful moments of our lives.

Our wedding was a fusion of Gujarati and Punjabi cultures, and Cheryl handled it with deep cultural understanding and with attention to detail. She ensured both families’ traditions and preferences were honored in ways that felt authentic, inclusive, and full of heart. This is not an easy task — balancing two families, multiple events, and generations of expectations — and yet, Cheryl made it all feel seamless.

Each of our three unique venues — our home for the haldi, Villa at the Vineyard for the sangeet, and Canyonwood Ridge for the wedding and reception — had its own vibe, needs, and logistical challenges. Cheryl offered invaluable input for each space and executed every single event to perfection. The haldi at home felt warm, vibrant, and intimate. The sangeet was amazing ranging from custom decor, amazing music and food. And the wedding and reception were nothing short of magical. Every detail was intentional and stunning.

One of Cheryl’s greatest strengths is her vendor network. Every single vendor she recommended was phenomenal — talented, professional, and kind. We quickly realized that as long as we trusted her suggestions, we were in the best possible hands. From décor to photography to catering to music, each vendor elevated the experience and worked together seamlessly — a direct result of Cheryl’s experience and relationships.

We had guests fly in from India and all over the world, and time and time again we heard the same thing from them: this was the best wedding they have ever attended in the United States. To hear that from guests who have attended countless weddings — many of them elaborate and large — was the ultimate compliment. The entire weekend was unforgettable, and it’s truly all thanks to Cheryl.

What truly sets Cheryl apart is her calm presence and her ability to make everyone feel taken care of. Every time we felt overwhelmed, she was there to handle it. There are not enough words to describe how key Cheryl and the entire Glitzzy Team was to making our big day smooth, flawless, and extremely meaningful and personal.
From Day 1 of planning, Cheryl went above and beyond for us in almost every way. She was organized, efficient, honest, straightforward, had a artsy eye with a similar taste in decor as me and my vision, and had all the connections with immense experience in the San Antonio wedding industry to start planning the perfect day for us. Cheryl and the rest of her team are minted professionals, who were able to anticipate not only my husband and I’s every need along the way, but also our family’s. Cheryl got on the phone countless times with my father to discuss budgeting, costs, various open bar packages with our venues, etc. – these were long conversations that went beyond our planning meetings. She worked closely with my mother-in-law (also separately from our planning meetings) to plan our welcome party the night prior to the big day. She knew exactly how to ensure we chose vendors who would be the right fit for us and frequently vetted vendors we were looking for within our budget, frequently connecting with them over the phone multiple times to get us the right deals and packages, and then to plan and coordinate with them. Every crisis along the way was also handled was such poise, professionalism, and urgency by Cheryl and her team. When our hotel block portal online wasn’t working for any guests, Cheryl jumped in. When we were struggling to pick a bar package, Cheryl allowed us to talk it out over and over again in every which way with her to brainstorm together. 3 days before the wedding, when I received an unexpected call from our decorating team requesting things that were new to me, had not been discussed previously, and were not part of our budget (as I was actively on the way to a photoshoot with my husband and had wedding festivity events about to begin), Cheryl literally told me ‘don’t worry about any of it, go enjoy your photoshoot, I’ll take care of this’ and she absolutely 100% did. I was able to enjoy quality time and special moments with my family that day and that week leading up to the big day, those who had flown from all over just for our wedding weekend, which I otherwise wouldn’t have had. The best part of working with Cheryl and her team is that this won’t just be ‘another event’ for her. She and her team care so deeply about the work they do and have such passion to make quality events happen. Planning our event was obviously a personal journey for us and our families, but it felt from the start that it was also really personal for Cheryl and Rohit as well.

Finally, the day of felt like a dream for me, my husband, and both our parents. Each puzzle piece, each event, was so smooth, so flawless, I almost literally couldn’t believe it. I would walk into each event after getting hair and makeup done for hours, wondering how things would turn out. And I was just speechless and floored every time and every event when I walked through the doors to see how amazing everything looked and how smoothly things were running. And the best, most important part of all of this, was that my husband and I were truly able to enjoy our wedding day and really maximize the time we spent with our loved ones. Without Cheryl and her team, that would not have been possible, and we are eternally grateful for this.

My husband and I, along with our families, honestly can’t thank Cheryl enough for everything she did to make our wedding week a success! She took everything we dreamed of straight out of our minds and nailed it better than we could imagine. Cheryl, Rohit, Simran and their team went above and beyond to keep us relaxed throughout the events. Cheryl even stepped in to help with last-minute outfit adjustments and ensuring we had a plate of food and drink in hand to enjoy during each of the festivities.

Their whole team was accommodating as well with our catering staff, who had never done an event of this caliber, walking them through the expectations and planning down to the minute. The organization of the food was a huge hit and people were shocked to hear it was their first time because of how smoothly Cheryl and Rohit handled the program.
Cheryl was super quick to respond to last minute changes and freak outs, as brides often have, with such care. The morning of my mehndi she was able to attend to a freak out of mine and get in touch with vendors for confirmations early in the morning without hesitation.

Throughout our regularly scheduled meetings, she also had some amazing ideas in all areas, from decor down to the snacks and drinks we chose, which enhanced our jungle-themed Sangeet and Italian-themed Haldi. Thanks to her quick thinking, she added a backdrop to our Haldi set up the month of the wedding that totally sold the vibe and made for some incredible photos.

Our wedding guests were equally impressed by her professionalism and organization. Every vendor Cheryl recommended was exceptional, and we’re so grateful for her guidance in finding the perfect team to celebrate with us. Another critical quality is that they must be accessible. Cheryl was extremely responsive throughout our entire engagement, even when both of us were traveling abroad. She set up weekly meetings (that we now miss so much) to stay on top of everything and always came prepared and gently encouraged us to make decisions.

Our first meeting with Cheryl occurred when she was traveling in Mumbai. She was kind to prioritize and make herself available across timezones to meet with us. When we mentioned our wedding dream of having a 4-day event with different locations for each day, she was probably the only person that said “Let’s do it!”. That’s when we knew we needed Cheryl to plan our wedding. She understood what it would take and we left the conversation ready to move forward.

During the wedding week, the execution by the Glitzzy Team was absolutely seamless. Cheryl, Rohit, Melissa and Simran were ready to take on each day and ensure there were no issues. We did not have to worry about anything other than showing up and enjoying our wedding. Cheryl and team took care of everything, and we know there was so much work behind the scenes that they managed. From coordinating shuttles for our guests, to ensuring venues were set up correctly, to addressing last minute requests from family, the team was extremely professional and made things happen.

Cheryl and Rohit were exceptional planners who orchestrated our entire wedding with incredible precision and care. We had a Western/Bengali fusion wedding with many moving parts, and they managed every detail seamlessly. Months before the big day, everything was already scheduled in 15-minute intervals, and we had a clear, comprehensive template outlining exactly what would happen and when. That level of preparation gave us so much peace of mind.

By the time the wedding day arrived, there was very little for us to worry about. Cheryl had already coordinated with all of our vendors, so everything was set up and ready to go. Their meticulous planning ensured every element happened right on time and without a hitch. Transitioning from the Western ceremony to the Bengali celebration was a huge worry for us but they managed it flawlessly, where it all happened while we were getting ready.

Throughout the process, Cheryl and Rohit checked in just enough to keep us informed without overwhelming us. Thanks to them, what could have been a stressful 12-hour day was instead relaxed and joyful. They truly brought our vision to life, and our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how beautifully organized and seamless the entire event was.

For about one year leading up to the wedding, we would have nearly weekly meetings with Cheryl, during which she asked us about our vision for each event and connected us with vendors that matched our price range and needs. She kept us on track during each meeting, and then even met us in person in Austin a few times as well as in Houston a few times for food tasting. Her ability to serve as an intermediary between all of the different parties involved in the planning of an Indian wedding — the vendors, parents, couple, venue staff, Priest, among others – is an amazing skill. Her other team members – Juhi and Simran – were also amazing and incredibly helpful. The execution of the events went extremely smoothly, thanks to Cheryl’s presence. Many of our guests were shocked at how on time every event was (especially for an Indian wedding!) and that was entirely due to Cheryl’s meticulous planning and execution the day of!

We had the pleasure of working with Allie as our wedding planner for our special day in Dripping Springs. Coming from England and marrying a Texan, we wanted to make it as Texan as possible for our are guest and Ofcourse Allie did that with the small and big details!

Not only did she help us plan the wedding itself, but she also helped me with events leading up to it,( welcome dinner, tubing, bars and restaurant recommendations , things to do in Austin, rehearsal dinner etc) making the entire week unforgettable for our 60 English guests who flew in. Every detail was handled with such care and precision, and her personalized touches made everything feel so special.

I was also based in London during the months leading up to the wedding and during planning, Allie was always so flexible and easy to communicate with regardless of distance and time difference!

Allie truly understood our vision from the start. Her suggestions were always spot-on, and everyone she recommended for our wedding did not only offered a great service but were all great to work with. Allie her self, her energy is infectious, and working with her was an absolute joy. No just working with Allie, but on the wedding day its self, all my guests and all the vendors also loved having Allie around!

She was incredibly efficient, proactive, and supportive throughout the entire process. I genuinely can’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for a wedding planner who goes above and beyond to create a perfect, stress-free experience.

I am so glad that we hired a wedding coordinator, but I wish that I would have done more research. Ultimately I felt that hiring RosePop made the day more stressful, not less. Leading up to the wedding, we were provided with a day-of schedule of events. It was challenging to make changes to this schedule with the wedding coordinator and even up to the week of the event there were so many typos and items that were simply incorrect- such as a timeframe for fireworks when we had no intention of doing such activities. Coordination with the other vendors was complicated because RosePop took on the direct communication with the vendors week of. A situation took place in which I was trying to get ahold of one of the vendors that had not delivered in the expected timeframe, but when they called back it was to the coordinator who was unaware and not taking action on any issues. Had I not been persistent in playing phone tag, the vendor would not have delivered as they had made a dispatch error that day. At 10:00 p.m. the night before the wedding I received a text that the cake had not been paid for, leading me to believe we would not have cake/dessert, something that was very important to the occasion and not replaceable with a supermarket cake. When looking through the communication history, the planner had received this notice much earlier. We had already paid the deposit and followup payment to the cake vendor and they had made an error in not recording our payment because it was through a different payment method. I was deeply disappointed in how this was handled and found it very stressful.
I did not know until the day of the celebration that our planner was double booked on our wedding day and was not there to help set up.
Because of a communication error made by the planner, the catering arrived during the celebration and unfortunately the catering staff members are in our photos.
When our flower order was delivered, the planner did not verify the counts of corsages and we were short one.
There were other ways in which they were helpful – our tent heater had a malfunction and our planner got someone out from the vendor to troubleshoot and fix.
It was frustrating to me that the bartender hired through RosePop put up a request for tips on venmo, even though he was being tipped and paid at an agreed rate and scope of services.
We had a beautiful day, but I really wish that our planner had had more attention to detail in helping us coordinate and communicate with vendors.

Cierra from Wedding Day girl is a fairy godmother! My daughter was married this weekend and Cierra executed the most wonderful day for everyone. From handling things in the background to making sure everyone was happy and had what they needed, she worked harder than anyone I have ever seen. My daughter was married in our church and the reception was offsite. Cierra basically managed two events and coordinated both for us. She made everything flawless so that the bride and groom (and her parents, family and friends) could celebrate the occasion. Having worked with Cierra the last several months, we consider her family now- she truly made everything about the process special and handled all those details you don’t think about. Even when the baker dropped the cake, she worked with them to get a new cake delivered before anyone found out- she has plans and backup plans for the plans. We love you Cierra!

Kylie was the perfect choice for our January 2024 wedding in Austin!! I am not one to write reviews, but I am SO happy that we chose Wedding Day Girl and want any future brides to know where to go! I had a few phone call interviews with other companies, but I knew Wedding Day Girl was the one for me after talking to Amina and Kylie on the phone.

I am the first daughter to get married, so my mom and I didn’t know where to start. We hired Kylie as our “day of coordinator”, but she was involved a whole YEAR out from the wedding. She did a lot more than I anticipated. I was able to text or email her about any questions I had throughout the process (and I had a lot!) which made feel confident in making decisions. I am typically super indecisive, but I didn’t feel that way with Kylie’s help. She helped simplify things that I thought were going to be difficult. For example, we were not able to leave signage at the venue after the wedding night. Kylie packed and stored all of our signage in her car so my parents and I could continue to enjoy the night with our family and friends, and met up with my parents the next morning.

I got married 10.27.23 and for a year and a half Marcela worked with me and my husband to make our vision come to life. She had flexible payment plans, and was so incredibly supportive making the process as smooth as possible.

It rained on the day of my wedding and Marcela and team didn’t miss a beat. At the end of it, I didn’t even care or notice since she made all of my vision still come to life.

I started working with Malleret Designs 6 months before our May wedding, when we decided we wanted an modern, yet romantic wedding. From the very first meeting, Marcela listened what was it we were looking for and guided us to decide our style. She showed us many options and worked with us until we found exactly what wanted.
Working with two brides with different styles, and 12 total bridesmaids, has not been easy. She pretty much planned two weddings in one. The results were beyond what we expected. Being a destination wedding for Marcela, she took the time to be in contact with us several times as the wedding approached. We made changes, over the phone while using personalized galleries to define our decoration. Marcela, and the Malleret Designs team work very hard to ensure our day was perfect.
The day of our wedding, weather did not cooperate, and we had last minute change of venues to our back up space. Imagine the stress of having to change everything the day of! Marcela was the vendor that handled the situation with complete control. She rearranged things, moved decoration, used her knowledge and experience, and the result was amazing.
Thankfully, we were still able to have the ceremony in the rooftop, I was extremely happy the way our modern arch arrangement looked (see pictures. I am 100% confident our reception would not have been the same without Marcela’s ideas, adaptability to work on a new space last minute, and perfect sense of style. We are forever grateful for everything she’s done for us.
As an LGBT couple, we felt extremely comfortable knowing Marcela had experience working with similar couples in the past. During the whole process, we felt Marcela took the time to get to know us personally, and as couple. We would recommend working with her without hesitation.

We contracted Malleret Designs (Marcela Bogado) to assist us in transforming a venue that needed transformation. I was the project manager for our wedding, and I was very aware that I had to hire extremely competent and talented people to help me as I was planning this wedding from another city (Houston) while the wedding was in Austin, TX. My wife and I are an older couple (mid 50’s) that reconnected after 35 years since High School. As an older couple we have acquired a refined pallet through life experiences from wine, art, travel, and just experiencing the world. We opted for a very a modest venue so to not alienate our friends from 35 years past and to help make all our guests comfortable, yet we were having Justin Furstenfeld (Blue October) play for us and invited guests that would appreciate the refinement that a firm such as Malleret Designs could offer.. This venue needed lots of help to transform its modest décor to serene and uniquely beautiful backdrop for our special day. It required creativity and a strong network. Marcela Bogado was the right and only choice for us!

I write this review 6 months having a clear mind to look back at our special day. Marcela has such a talent for listening and understanding what we wanted. I remember the day she had the “aha” moment in understanding our energy and our pallet. She took it from there and hit the design from the beginning! We met to finally select materials to complete the picture and she provided excellent suppliers! We made very few modifications to her artistic approach to our design. Her design talent was clear and the only part left was the actual implementation.

Marcela and team were on site early and clearly communicated with us and the venue. The execution was flawless as I was there to do a final walk through. It took my breathe away as her vision came to a reality. As an experienced project manager, I could not have asked for a better design partner with such listening skills, creative talent, and focused execution to fully create a masterpiece. I am not easy to please, yet my expectations were over-exceeded. 6 months later and I feel stronger about Malleret Designs than that actual busy day. I cannot express my gratitude enough for all the RESULTS! I am in awe of Marcela’s work and if you want a strong partner to help with your special day, I strongly suggest you don’t risk it and simply put your trust in Marcela Bogado and Malleret Designs.

She is kind and open to help with whatever you need. She is firm and gets the job done efficiently. She’s everything we needed for our day to come together. I almost cried while watching her design come to life on the wedding day. The flowers she used were immaculate (our guests took them home too!). Even with the flower shortage and my last minute request, she pulled together something that far exceeded my expectations.
