Coastline Academy Driving School - Austin

Coastine Academy driving school is a school I would highly recommend. I chose the 6-hour package. I was a first-time driver with zero knowledge of driving, but after my lessons here, I am now a qualified, confident, and safe driver! Jimmy T was my instructor, and I had a great time during my lessons. He exhibited professionalism, knowledge, calmness, patience, clarity, and friendliness. I have been lucky to have him as my instructor. Jimmy, I appreciate you teaching me how to drive confidently on the road. Learning with Jimmy T., the instructor at Coastine Academy, was a truly enjoyable experience.

Coastline was amazing as they helped me learn to drive as an adult. Dillon was incredibly helpful, patient, kind and knowledgeable. He helped me get over my fears on the road and taught me so much in 6 hours.

This is the best driving school in ATX from my experience. They offer pickup and dropoff for students, unlike most places. Easy to schedule, fair prices, package discounts, and good instructors. The only downside is that they don't administer the DPS road test, so you have to go to another place to get your license.

Had an amazing experience with instructor Christy. She was so patient, kind, and gave spot-on, practical feedback/tips that helped me build my confidence and pass my test on the first try. Coastline’s online booking system was also a breeze. Definitely recommend!

I really appreciate Jeff T.’s calm and clear guidance during our lessons, as well as the helpful tips that he shared. It eased my nervousness and I feel like I made a lot of progress with my driving skills. We also covered a lot of content in each session. I’ve taken driving lessons with other schools in Austin, but Coastline has the best instruction and I would highly recommend Coastline for first time drivers.

Coastline Academy Driving School is a great place to learn how to drive. The instructors are patient and well experienced, making it easy for students to relate and learn. Michael B. is an exceptional instructor by all standards and I highly recommend him.My kid took 5 private lessons with him. He is very good with teens with extreme patience and very understanding. Including my kid, 4 of my kids friends took lessons from him and everyone had the same great experience with Michael! Highly recommend him as an instructor!
