5 Stars – Hands Down the Best in Town! Ashley’s Playhouse has been an absolute blessing for me as a single mom. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and care that fills the space. The owner, Ashley, is one of the kindest and most passionate people I’ve ever met. The price is more than fair and it’s clear that she genuinely loves what she does and pours her heart into creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for every child who walks through the door. The entire staff is just as wonderful—so sweet, patient, and attentive. My daughter absolutely loves going and always comes home with a smile (and a new little toy thanks to their fun token reward system!). It’s such a thoughtful way to encourage good behavior and give kids something to look forward to at the end of the day. I’ve been to many other daycare centers in all of Austin area, and this one is hands down the best in town. Not only is the inside super cool and fun for the kids, but they also get outdoor playtime, so they’re not stuck in a building all day and it’s always very clean. They even have a meal system, which is a lifesaver for busy mornings—no need to pack food if you’re in a rush! It gives me so much peace of mind knowing that my child is in such loving hands. I truly can’t recommend Ashley’s Playhouse enough. It’s not just a day center, it’s a place where kids are genuinely cared for, and where parents feel supported and welcomed.

We love Ashley’s Playhouse. The staff is truly amazing and treat my son like their own from day. The facility is truly a playhouse for the kids! My son is just in the infant room right now and it is also a nice area for the younger ones. The owner is very kind and greeted us and even introduced us to her kiddos. I know I can always trust them to take great care of my son for the time I need to drop h. Also hours are flexible and you can’t beat the price!

I used to take my daughter here years ago, from kindergarten to about third or fourth grade. Ashley and her team were absolute lifesavers for us during some very challenging times in our lives, and gave my autistic daughter a place to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely happy. It always took her a few minutes to really want to leave when it was time to pick her up! She enjoyed it so much, that even though she’s aged out, she still likes to bring up Ashley’s and how much she loved it there I am grateful to Ashley for having such a positive impact on my daughter’s life. (I will say as a full disclosure, my daughter’s assistance needs are low to medium, so if you do have a child with higher assistance needs who gets very overwhelmed by large group settings, keep this in mind because a group childcare setting can only do/accommodate so much)

My 3 year old LOVES Ashley’s Playhouse. We were recommended to them by a Director at different preschool. We were fortunate to have her recieve care the same day we registered. My daughter could see the children playing while I was completing the enrollment forms and said several times, " Mommy I want to go play!" She was excited to be there. Once enrollment was completed she immediately went inside and began playing and making friends. I could see her from the window playing happily as I drove away. It is a full service for the child and parent. The hours are awesome and the fact that my child is clean, fed, and happy upon pick up matters so much to me. The staff is attentive and knowlegable about my child. They will call me if there are any questions and call me back promptly if I leave a message. They are consistent and don’t change their hours at random. I only wish we’d found Ashley’s Playhouse sooner as it is a favorite place for my child.

Both my girls have been here and they enjoyed their experience! My oldest begs me to go back! They worked with my schedule, even though I had to reschedule some things last minute. I appreciate them so much for that! Definitely the place to go if you need extra childcare for your schedule! (As someone who works is a scheduling type system) Definitely schedule your kiddos ahead of time! They may not always have space last minute, but they will definitely work with you if you work it out with them! Thank you for making life a little easier when childcare comes into the equation!

I don’t like to leave negative reviews, but I think parents deserve to know the truth, especially those who are considering trusting their kids to this place. They have such horrible service. This has happened not just once, but twice—my kids ended up crying when we left. The ladies who supervise the little kids there are very unkind. For example, my daughter cried because they gave my son a token but not her. I don’t know the reason for this, but they should not treat children this way. If the people supervising the kids don’t like them, they should consider quitting their jobs. There are plenty of people out there who genuinely love children and understand their feelings. This is the second time my son cried too; they didn’t give him a token because they said he was being "bad." Hello? He’s just a kid! Every child is different. My son has trauma after we left Ashley, and he told me while crying that he doesn’t want to go back there It’s so heartbreaking as a mom to see both of my kids crying, and the place I once trusted is no longer a reliable drop-in daycare. To the owner, please check your worker. Thank you.

We were coming to Austin for a kid-free wedding and I was freaking out a little about childcare. I am so thankful to find out about Ashley’s Playhouse when googling weekend childcare! I called to get more information and luckily was able to talk to Ms. Ashley herself. She answered any questions I had and put my mind at total ease. We went the day before to check it out and staff were wonderful. My 6 yr old had a great time and didn’t want to leave! My 7 month old was lovingly cared for and everything was documented! We are truly grateful for this business and they took great care of my kidos! Would definitely use them again when we come back to town! Thank you Ashley’s Playhouse and staff!
