Jackie at Vixen Esthetics is a truly gifted artist and an expert at her craft. She walked me through every step which helped calm my nerves throughout the process.
The results are incredible and have taken years off my face! I honestly can’t stop looking in the mirror.

I started coming here after two friends recommended it, and I’m so glad they did! Kaitlyn has helped me create a simple, effective skincare routine (with products way better than my old Target picks) and her facials are amazing. I’ve since started getting my brows laminated and tinted, plus my lashes done and I love how she always listens to exactly what I want regarding shape and color. Every product she’s recommended has worked perfectly for my skin, and I always leave feeling confident! There points program also is great!

Jackie performed an absolute MIRACLE on my brows! I pull out the hair on my eyebrows, so I went to her for Nanobrows and she is absolutely an artist when it comes to permanent makeup! I used to have to put makeup on my brows daily to look normal and I haven’t had to touch them once since she did them! It’s been 3 months and they still look incredible. I am so so happy with them and can’t recommend her enough!

I’ve been wanting to get my brows done forever but have been so hesitant to go anywhere because of how permanent of a decision this is. After a recommendation from a trusted friend and checking out Jackie’s work it’s clear that she has range and is a master at what she does. No matter what style you are going for she can craft something especially for you that’s going to complement your face. My partner and I drove 2 hours for this appointment and it was well worth the drive. Previously I wouldn’t leave my house without penciling in my brows and I haven’t touched a pencil since! Jackie was quick to respond with questions during the healing process. She is the absolute best— well worth the wait and the drive! She was very thorough and spent a long time measuring and mapping to make sure everything would come out as expected, 10/10 check her out if you’ve been considering getting your brows done. Your only regret will be that you didn’t go sooner!

I got the eyebrow powder ombré done by Perla, and I seriously can’t stop staring at them! She gave me the perfect shape with a soft, natural gradient that looks amazing every day—no pencil or makeup needed.

Perla was so professional, gentle, and made me feel completely comfortable through the whole process. She really took her time to make sure everything was just right. Healing was easy, and the results are flawless.

Kenzie is absolutely a glamour witch. She made my almost not existent eyebrows spring to life. It is really crazy how brows do so much for your face and overall look. I wish I had done it sooner. I got my brows done with Kenzie the first time late 2022 and recently went in for a refresh. Not only is she a magician but she’s so sweet, bubbly, cares what you think of your brows and always willing to make adjustments without hesitation! Also, she’s got some pretty banging music taste.

I had my wedding hair trial and day of hairdo with Tammie and I absolutely loved both! She’s very detail oriented and just gets what you ask for adapted to your own hair. I thought I wouldn’t be able to find anyone I’d like to do my hair, but I felt extremely satisfied and safe in Tammies’s hands. Tammi did my bridal hair and Mayra my bridal make up for my wedding around thanksgiving of 2022. Tammi was always prompt in her communication and clarifying steps in the booking process. I told Tammi it was important to me to use my natural waves in the hairstyle, and showed pictures for inspiration. When I went into her studio for a trial session, she made me feel like I had the best hair in the world, and that I was one of the most beautiful women she’d ever seen or worked with. Every single woman deserves to feel like that, especially around their wedding day. I showed Mayra photos for inspiration for bridal makeup and she also helped bring my vision into a reality. I loved working with LUX! I used them for hair and makeup on myself, 5 bridesmaids, my mom, and the mother of the groom. They did an incredible job on everyone and our hair and makeup lasted late into the night. I used my hair and makeup trial for my engagement photos and they did wonderful for that as well. The team showed up early, kept us ahead of schedule, and were able to fulfill all of the different hair and makeup requests. I had the pleasure of booking Adore fo my wedding on May 10th, 2025. I booked my hair & makeup as well as 4 bridesmaids and my mother in law. Shirely was our makeup artist and Becky was our hairstylist. Shirley was my main point of contact during the planning process and she was quick to respond to all questions and was very helpful. We had our hair & makeup done at my house and they brought everything, including chairs. They both did amazing work and were very accommodating of everyone’s preferences, especially with the false eyelashes, they had a lot of options. I struggle with breakouts and oily skin and being stressed about the wedding made it worse, but Shirley had products for all different skin types and it turned out amazing. The makeup also LASTED, like the whole night, even with oily skin, I was really impressed. I would highly recommend Adore and both of our artists.

I walked in and everyone was super friendly. I had a makeup tutorial with Shirley today. I’m 47 and never really learned how to put makeup on. Words cannot describe how wonderful she was and how she made me feel so at ease. She was very patient and allowed me to video and take notes during the process. She also taught me using most of my own makeup which was great. I walked out with so much knowledge, a neat paper showing where to apply everything, and feeling prettier than I ever have before. Thank you to this wonderful, kind, and very patient person who helped me feel pretty today. I can’t give more than 5 stars but Shirley deserves wayyyyyy more than 5! I hired Adore as our hair and makeup artists for my April, 2024 wedding. They were very easy to coordinate with, and Maite (makeup) and Alexis (hair) were amazing! I first did a trial with them, which was extremely helpful, especially because I almost never wear makeup and didn’t have a great idea of what would suit me. Alexis was able to replicate a reference photo I liked to a T, and Maite helped me talk through what colors would work for me, what would help the look, and made sure that all the makeup (like false lashes) were comfortable. Some of my bridesmaids weren’t enthusiastic about getting their hair and makeup done by someone else– some of them had dark skin or short hair, so were a bit skeptical about whether or not a vendor could do a good job. Shirley reassured me that they had worked with a variety of people, and sure enough, they absolutely killed it! They came to our hotel on time, were both patient and kind, and had no problem giving us the looks that we had asked for. The hair and makeup was very comfortable and stayed all night– they gave me a touchup kit, but I didn’t need to use it at all.

They arrived on-time at The Milestone in Georgetown and had all 7 of us ready in advance of formal pictures. Shirley and her team were very friendly and engaging while providing all of us with personalized services. Everyone looked beautiful and were very happy with the results.

I was booked with Vicki for my makeup and Gabrielle for hair, and loved how everything turned out! Luna Beauty was recommended to us by our wedding planner, Gerad Floyd, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Their work was phenomenal! Luna & her team provided hair and makeup services for me, my bridesmaids, mom, and flower girls. My hair stayed in place all night. I was glad to have a little makeup kit provided for myself if touchups were needed but I didn’t end up pausing to use it. Makeup lasted all night as well, though! Makeup aligned with inspiration photos. Throughout the process, they checked in to see if any changes were desired. I did not pay for a trial run, but would encourage it if you have the money especially if you are indecisive and might not be used to putting on full makeup.

Luna was amazing to work with! She was incredibly helpful and responsive. Luna did my hair and Gabi did my makeup and got so many compliments on it the day of! Booking with Luna Beauty & Bridal was one of the easiest parts of the wedding planning process. They were so easy to work with and had every detail covered. Getting ready on my wedding morning was so fun and we even got ahead of schedule because of how on top of it everyone was. They were great about listening to my bridesmaids visions and adjusting when needed.

I did a trial a couple months before my wedding and knew I made the right choice when I saw how expertly she styled my hand to handle hair. All of my makeup adjustments were applied perfectly on my wedding day and I felt like my vision was achieved. She even helped me order clip-in extensions to make my half-up hair style look more voluminous. I would absolutely recommend them to any brides in the Austin and surrounding areas.

She did makeup for some of my bridesmaids as well and it was flawless! We all loved it. Ashley did a lot of the girls’ hair and it all looked so amazing. We loved having Lola Beauty for our wedding!! I felt so beautiful, and Erin was so attentive to my vision and the hair and makeup turned out exactly how I wanted – glowy and me-but-better! Overall, I’m happy with LoLa Beauty. They were one of VERY few vendors who was willing to book me even though I had no bridesmaids, and only needed two services (hair and makeup for me). And they were even willing to send the artists out to me for a small travel fee. This was seriously impossible to find elsewhere.
Lati did my hair, and I LOVED IT. She incorporated all of my feedback, and did the most stunning updo I’ve ever seen. It was perfect!! I would definitely go back to her. Plus, she was hilarious, chatting the entire time she did my hair.
Becky did my makeup, and generally she did a good job. The only reason I might rate her four stars is because I felt like the fake eyelashes were too much. Tbh, this is probably my fault, because she did listen to my feedback from the trial and she did make changes accordingly. But there were so many choices to make, and I got a little overwhelmed, so I just wish she had presented more options when it came to lashes or offered more guidance. In general, not the end of the world. Plus, Becky was very very nice.

When I went to my trial, I only had a couple of generic ideas in mind, but Katy absolutely nailed the look—better than I could have ever imagined. I often struggle to get makeup to stay put for extended periods, so I was completely shocked when it stayed flawless all day and night! Katy even shared some of her pro tips and suggested products she loves, which was such a nice bonus.

I had shared a couple of insecurities with Katy during my trial, and she not only listened but completely erased them with her brushes. I’ve truly never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day, and I owe it all to her artistry!

I photographed a bride that Katy Reddell did hair and makeup for. Her hair and makeup did not shift the entire day! Even with a bit of wind and heat. Her skin looked flawless and I didn’t have to retouch any of her photos because of it. I would give 10 stars if I could.

I hired Katy for my wedding hair & makeup and wouldn’t change a thing. I first reached out to do a trial to see if I liked her & her work for my engagement shoot. She KILLED IT. I have pretty thick & very long hair and a lot of times when I get my hair done as a bridesmaid, my hair just looked balled up and pinned to get it all up. I explained that to Katy and showed her some of her styles I like from her instagram- I told her what I did and didn’t like about multiple styles and asked her to try and make something from all the examples I showed her and when she turned the chair around I was blown away and so shocked about what she created! My makeup was also flawless and stayed on & looking good through a hot outdoor engagement shoot. After that, I knew I had to book her & that the extra fee to have Katy be your lead stylist was 100% worth it. For wedding day, I really enjoyed that pricing was given up front and everyone (bride, bridesmaid, etc) was required to pay ahead of time before the big day so that no one was scrambling to find their venmo, confused on pricing, etc on the day of. I liked that Katy and the team just showed up, did their thing, and business was already handled. On my wedding day, I had quite a big wedding party but she and her team stayed calm, cool, and collected the entire time which took a lot of stress from me. Anything I had a problem with, Katy was so nice and reassured me that everything would be perfect by the end, and she wasn’t wrong. Katy is the type of person you just wish you were friends with by the time she has to leave. I was so impressed with everyones hair, but really loved that everyones makeup still looked good and fresh at the end of my reception! You will not regret hiring her and her team for your wedding. You will be SO glad you did when you look in the mirror after your dress in on that day, and you’ll be reminded again when you get your photos back and see just how gorgeous she made you look!

Katy and Mariah were just so phenomenal to work with. They truly did check all the boxes of professionalism–coordinated, organized, and highly skilled–as well as setting a tone that was warm and welcoming from start to finish. They were both so efficient that we got ahead of schedule on hair and makeup, with very few touch-ups needed at the end to boot! All I had to do was show Katy one inspiration picture, and she took it from there, bringing the dream look to life right before my eyes. She was so attentive to the smallest details, and made my insecure self feel absolutely beautiful and utterly pampered. Everyone’s hair and makeup looked so natural and effortless, yet we all felt like we were glowing. I never once dealt with any skin or eye irritation, even though I don’t normally wear false lashes. My hair also stayed in place all night, despite all the running around in the rain I had to do. I hope I have a chance to work with Katy again sometime in the future, as she is not only top of her field, but also a genuinely lovely person all around.

Yvonne, the manager, also did an amazing job communicating with me from start to finish, and even helped me out over the phone when I got lost while traveling to the studio for my trial appointment! I am so appreciative of how attentive and kind everyone on Katy’s team is!

Heather is absolutely AMAZING. I was nervous about scheduling my appointment, I am middle age, in menopause and have never really worn makeup. Heather put me at ease straight off. The experience was something that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I left feeling better about myself than I had in a very long time. Heather made me feel less insecure about myself and helped me to see the positive’s and to focus less on what I perceived as my flaws. Later, she emailed me a detailed list of products that would work best on my skin tone. The email also included reminders of how to apply the makeup correctly. Later that day, I took my Mom to an appt and the woman did not recognize me! The makeup I was wearing just brought out my features and was not a “ton of makeup”. Every time, I put on makeup I think of Heather and smile. Heather is kind, understanding, helpful and makes you feel a beautiful human being. She provides a comfortable space to share your thoughts, and she is so detailed and genuine as to the hair and makeup choices. I do not wear makeup on a daily basis, I had a vague idea of what I wanted, but she captured it so beautifully! Also, my skin had flare ups prior to this and she was very considerate about the items she used on my face and covered the blemishes. She ended up giving me skincare tips too. Despite a few challenges from our side, my mom and MIL looked and felt amazing through the night. We loved her natural approach to makeup, All of our hair and makeup stayed put through the night.

Heather is AMAZING!! I was very nervous looking into hair and makeup artists for my wedding. I don’t wear much makeup and was intimidated by the whole thing, but I knew I wanted to look a little extra special on my wedding day. Heather eased my nerves at our trial, where she took my feedback seriously and worked hard to create the exact look I was going for, making me feel much more confident about how things would go at my wedding. She would not let me walk away with any doubts! She has a calming presence and makes getting your hair and makeup done fun and relaxing. She is very organized, timely, and easy to work with. I also noticed her care in keeping things very sanitary and safe (I am a microbiologist so I have an eye for this!). The day of the wedding, I had so many people ask me who did my hair and makeup and tell me I still looked like “me”. My sister and mom got services done too and were very happy with the result. She left us feeling beautiful and ready to face the day! The thing that really stuck out to me was that the makeup felt light. When I have gotten makeup done in the past, it feels caked on and I can’t wait to get it off. With Heather’s work, I could barely feel anything on my face and my skin was fresh and happy the next day. I can’t recomend Heather enough!

Heather is an absolute JOY to work with. She was fabulous at curating a makeup look that complimented and enhanced my natural beauty. I have blue eyes and she made them absolutely pop with the perfect colors of eyeliner, mascara and eyeshadow. She even made my eye shape look more naturally dramatic/elegant- something I’ve never seen anyone do with makeup before! I’m also fair & sensitive skinned and acne prone and she was very considerate in choosing products that wouldn’t irritate me and would also cover any blemishes I needed. She uses cruelty free products and is diligent about cleanliness which makes for a very comfortable experience. She styled my hair with curls and pinned it partially back with flowers which allowed for a natural yet elevated look. She’s is abundantly kind and a delight to chat with and is a great listener as well. She made me feel so naturally beautiful- I couldn’t have asked for a better artist! She is wonderfully creative and intentional with all of her makeup and hair choices. Highly highly highly recommend!

Edit to add: I also did a lesson for my own hair and makeup for my elopement and it was so fun- Heather helped my figure out the right brushes, products and colors for my skin type/tones! I went in knowing nothing and feel so much more confident after she shared such personalized wisdom! Even though it rained on us, I still felt so beautiful 🙂

Heather is absolutely lovely to work with! She was the first vendor we booked (after our venue) because I knew I needed a HMU team that only used cruelty free makeup, and she has that industry in ATX locked down for good reason. She doesn’t hesitate to share her opinion on what she thinks will/won’t work for you, but still worked well with my feedback. She’s meticulous with fine tuning HMU details until everything is just right. Our lashes stayed on all day/night, mascara and eyeliner didn’t budge, and my foundation stayed smooth/wore evenly in light of ALL the dancing. My only complaint is that my hair fell almost immediately after our ceremony, though we had a game plan for that in case it happened (I had an outdoor wedding and it was humid, so really I’m just glad it held up through family photos). I do wish she would have done my hair in the same manner as my bridesmaids’ since I asked that we all have the same style, and theirs stayed all night so maybe mine would have lasted a bit longer. But all is well that ends well, and at the end of the day I would recommend Heather to anybody in need of HMU services for a wedding or event! And I would book her again! Thank you Heather!

Heather was dreamy to work with! She is collaborative, creative, and the friendliest. She truly does keep the look natural, and my sensitive skin did not even react to the makeup she put on because she uses such good product.

Heather was phenomenal on my wedding day, and having her there to help me get ready was genuinely a highlight of the day. I was running a little behind but she was flexible and accommodating. In moments of stress, she helped calm me down. She has a positive energy that radiates and makes those around her feel relaxed. I was so grateful to her!

Heather felt inspired after she saw my flower crown on the wedding day and gave me an option to stick with our original plan for my hair (from our trial), or allow her to take an artistic route. I told her to take the artistic route, and her instinct resulted in absolute perfection with my hair! My hair and makeup stayed put ALL day and night, even after hours of dancing. Total magic! I was worried about having fake lashes all day, but she applied them so well that I didn’t even notice them. It was amazing. She also did the flower girl’s hair and simple makeup, as well as the hair of two of my sister’s, and everyone loved Heather and her work. She made all of us feel so beautiful and confident.

Heather is amazing. She did my wedding makeup, as well as my mother-in-law’s. Not only did she make us look and feel gorgeous the day of, she made the entire process so comfortable and easy. Bailey and Sierra completely blew me away! This sisterly duo is TOP. TIER. We had our trial a couple months before the big day, and I gave them super detailed feedback (because, hey, it’s my face and my hair ). And y’all—HOLY CANNOLI—they absolutely nailed it!!! Sierra was incredible with makeup. I had some color-matching concerns and sensitive, breakout-prone skin, so she kindly used my personal foundation and powder at my request. She was so respectful of that and still managed to create the most glowing, flawless, natural-yet-elevated look I’ve ever worn. I was torn between a couple styles and she helped me talk through what would look best and still feel like me. I trusted her—and I’m SO glad I did. I felt stunning. And then there’s Bailey, the hair magician!!! I have thin hair, and she somehow turned it into the voluminous Cinderella bun of my dreams. Like… how?! We had 7 hair and 7 make-up services on docket the morning of the wedding, and this team was an absolute dream to have for this process. My bridesmaids and wedding party definitely had a wide spectrum of tastes, styles, and preferences, but both Bailey and Lauren listened to everyone’s wants and needs and truly delivered in a timely manner.

The ThinkBrink team is incredible & I truly couldn’t recommend them more. Iva Marie and Alex were our designated makeup artists, and they made me and all my bridesmaids feel so beautiful. They played a huge role in making the day perfect! Our getting ready process was such a breeze and the best start to a busy day. The girls were so kind and took the time to make sure each of us loved our looks. I have had several friends book with ThinkBrink and each of them have such amazing things to say!

The team at Think Brink was fantastic for our wedding!! We had an outdoor wedding in July in Austin (I know) and all of our makeup lasted the whole day! They are pros at Think Brink and somehow finished all 14 of our hair and makeup EARLY and everyone looked stunning.

After my hair and make up trial, I ended up having a reaction to one of the products used and they easily found a substitution for me that gave the same glow on wedding day that I was looking for and I was so thankful for their effort there.
